These standalone motion sensors are great because they can be paired with any type of light. They can also be wired so that one of more motion sensor can turn on a whole array of lights when triggered. All you have to do is connect the red wire from the motion sensor(s) to the hot input of each light. Very easy to do if you use 14/3 wire on a 15 amp circuit, or 12/3 on a 20 amp circuit. The 240 degree motion detection coverage is perfect for covering larger areas such as a whole side of a building, yard, or alley. They have a lot more coverage than the more narrow versions. Excellent value for the money, will be buying more of these for sure.

I had a sensor that keep turning the lights on at any little thing or for no reason, also sometimes it would turn on during the day too, i was not happy . The build quality feels great, I installed this one on the my back yard light and set my preferred settings and now this works perfect, only turns the light on when you actually walk by, also it does Not turn on during the day. It comes with decent size instructions. Very impressed with this and i would definitely get another one if need be.

I replaced these on some security lights I have in my backyard where the plastic covering the detector had cracked from the weather. The manufacturer for the lights with the bad sensors did not want to do a warranty claim so these came in handy. They work with these lights as the others did. My hope is that they are more durable than the ones that I replaced.

Does not have a 60’ range. When you turn the sensitivity all the way, it keeps turning on and off constantly and still has a max. range of about 5'-10'

These are good replacement motion sensors. They work just fine. My only complaint is the range seems to be a bit limited. I tried both the 50 ft and max ranges in test mode and again at night. I could not get it to trigger at 25 feet, no matter how wildly crazy I jumped around. Now the neighbors think I'm a bit whako.

Yep, only 72 Watt rated for LED drivers. I used a relay for a 120-Watt wall pack LED. I mounted the sensor and the relay in the wall pack, so everything is safe and water tight. Very sensitive, senses me walking at about 45 to 50 feet in front of the sensor. It does not see the cars driving by at 3oo feet. I have 2 units, both work with the same setting and sensitivity. This was a Vine sample, but I’m actually ordering more today. They are a very good value, and work great.

I have not had time to set this up outside. I tried it out on a temporary setup in the house and it seems to work fine. You have three tie settings; Test, Auto and Dusk to Dawn. I the auto mode you can adjust the time from 1-10 minutes. The sensitivity seemed ok in the house but when I install it outside in the air will be the real test. I am always concerned if there are dead spots and so far testing inside, I did not find any. The detection angle is 240° which is better than others at way less of an angle. If set on a corner, you will get some detection around the sides. This is just the detector. No light but it will turn you outside security light in to a motion light. You will need the right parts to make it work and they are readily available at any hardware store.
