    • Awesome product, I highly recommend for newer Duramax Diesel Owners
I bought this for my 2017 L5P Duramax, and it has been an awesome tool for my truck. There are so many great things about this, first off there are so many parameters for the L5P Duramax, I think there is 5 different egt readouts, a boost gauge, turbo vane position(helps me control the exhaust brake manually) fuel pump psi, fuel rail pressure, coolant temp(the factory gauge is a liar!) and the list goes on and on and on. It also reads codes which has helped me because I have had some emissions system problems, and onstar is not much help as far as check engine lights go. And it can also command a dpf regeneration, I love this, One time I was on a road trip and I was towing, so I had gone about 650 miles without a regen, I knew it would be coming up soon and since I was about an hour away from my destination, I thought I would just command it while I was stopped, and so it didnt start and get all hot right before I was about to shut it off, and make it inconvienent to drive around town(keep driving message). On the highway the truck heats up a lot less to do a regen and it completes it faster. So win win. I love this thing and I feel it was worth every penny, would highly recommend it to anyone who likes watching what there truck is doing, it has really taught me a lot more about my truck and I love it!!! ... show more

Apparently my internet connection glitched out while downloading the updates and I was totally lost wondering what the heck was wrong. I called customer support and I gotta say they weren't only helpful but kind, funny and respectful. I seriously felt like I had not only invested in a fine piece of equipment but an excellent company employing good people to boot and that made my day. I know what y'all r thinking and yes I'm the cabinet maker that's fun to work with. So yes having a good time producing a quality product is important to folks like me. The stock gauges on my Duramax have nothing on this baby. At all times I know exactly what is going on with my truck. I pulled all the codes that were on the truck when I bought it and after checking everything out erased them. lol it was great. I gotta say, I was worried about injector balance rates on these LB7s and didn't want to go broke taking every truck I was interested in buying to a shop , heck now I can check them anytime I feel like it. (:two thumbs up:) When I get in and fire her up I know she is in perfect condition and ready to roll. ... show more

    • Bad product not as advertised
0 stars the product I ordered was opened when I received it and did not even turn on. Ended up calling tech support and they are sending me a new one. Told me to throw this one away. I wasted my time buying this from an outside source

    • They were willing to fix the touch screen calibration issue that made it unusable.
I had written the company off because of the screen problem, the glitchiness, and the lack of clarification about which features work with which truck makes. BUT it is hard to write any software with any features, and this has a lot, sure not every Make works with all the features but try that at home.... that ain't easy buddy. For what it cost and what it does, it is an amazing deal. It's be far more amazing if they were up front about its limitations across Makes. A good many people are having this screen problem. I don't know if they have upgraded the innards to fix the issue. Used to be $100 plus shipping to fix it. Mine was way out of warranty, but I had contacted them in the past about it and they did not volunteer to fix it then, when it was barely out of warranty. Fortunately I got an excellent tech support guy this time and he took care of it for me. All I paid for was the shipping. Because of that and what it is and does... I might even buy another one. ... show more

    • Not capable enough considering the price.
This has a pretty screen with neat gauges. It caught my eye and I liked how it looked in my truck. Unfortunately it lacks support for a lot of the PIDs I wanted to monitor on my 2021 Ram, so I returned it. ScanGauge III, while not as pretty, is a couple hundred cheaper and actually much more capable if you don’t mind screens that look a little less fancy. Strictly business. ... show more

    • Not that great for the ECO D RAM falls short of needs and options.
I bought this for my 2015 RamECO Diesel.. this is what I found.. it monitors all the things my new truck already shows.. with exception to boost.. which my truck doesn't show.. it will show a regen which is why I bought it.. however the unit needs to be updated as soon as you get it to get that gauge .. and does nt work on Mac.. which is what I have.. so I can't update it unless it find a PC out there.. it is not a tune.. you can force a manual regen with it.. however that is all it does... it will read any codes that come up from CEL or other things that are going on.. it will not show injector activity on my Eco D or a dodge..If you are looking for a tune "with Juice" to work on your ECO D Ram they do not have one yet for edge... so in ending it will not tune.. it will show all the funtions like temp for oil, coolant, oil psi, boost, trans temp.. and I believe you can clear a code to get out of limp mode.. the touch screen is not that great.. the product doesn't come with a very good description of what it does.. but that is not the sellers fault it is the same if you buy the product on the EDGE site which is much more expensive then here.. I can do more with my obd2 reader and an app on iphone.. again this is not the seller fault.. it is simply what you want to invest in.. it looks cool.. but for me it has to go back.. EDGE has many models of montiors and tunes.. make sure you know what you want and what you need.. the engine in the ECO Diesel in the ram is new territory it is 3.0 6cyl diesel light duty..for ram and jeep so this EDGE product is only for show on this truck it will do a passive regen on its own so the only option I like I don't need .. or can't get unless I get it upgraded.. ... show more
