The unit goes together thru the use of allen screws. However, one side piece (that connects with the back rest) would not secure/tighten; the screw just turned and turned. Swapped screws and tried again but the same hole would not tighten. Contacted the seller, who was very responsive and supportive, and within a few days I received the replacement parts needed. It’s really well-built it’s very heavy not too heavy just very strong! It was fairly easy to put together I’m sort of a dunce when it comes to this putting together stuff but I did it In about one hour.

It's not often that you come across a teak product for such a reasonable price. It was fairly easy to assemble and is going to work well in the garden. Please note though, the delivery person had a bit of a struggle w/ the package was pretty heavy. That said, it's definitely sturdy!
