I like the color blue, the curtain blocks light without total blackout. Material is soft, but you will need to iron the wrinkles out. I use a curtain ring to hang, but They have one small area for your rod. I only paid 7$ for a panel a steal. I used them in my sitting room. I have a deferent color in my family room. ... show more

I bought the 84 inch long blush color curtains because it said room darkening. The blush color was perfectly accurate. The were quite wrinkled but once pressed they look very nice. They are thinner and lighter weight than I thought. I would not call these room darkening curtains. Light definitely comes through. I walked around the outside at night to see the curtains from outside and the room lights shine through somewhat. The window is massive and too large for a roll up shade and why I went with curtains. I am keeping them because they do look nice and don't weigh down the curtain rod. But if you want to completely block the light, go with blackout curtains. ... show more

For those reviewers complaining that these are not blackout curtains - you’re right! They’re not supposed to be blackout curtains! Nowhere does it claim they are blackout curtains! These are ROOM DARKENING curtains. Look at the second photo in the listing. It shows you that there are 4 levels of curtains - light filtering, room darkening, blackout, and 100% blackout. See the gold border around “room darkening”? It tells you what level these curtains are. So, for those of you looking for “room darkening” curtains - these are great! The fabric is thin, which is what I wanted. They are great for spring tension rods due to the very light weight. The quality appears fine considering the extremely low cost and free shipping. My windows are short, so I wanted this length, which is hard to find. Amazingly the color matches my walls perfectly, as I had hoped. They do darken the room to about dusk when closed, but are not blackout. Out of the package they are very wrinkled, which I’ll first try to correct with a wet towel in with them in the dryer. (Update—7 minutes for 3 panels in a medium temp commercial dryer with a couple wet hand towels did the trick.). The fabric will get “picks” in it easily, be careful of that. Color Blush (Pale Pink) fades to bluish gray in low light. Thin material allows soft light to pass through. The curtains aren't thermal or insulated. Got these at half price so bought 2 panels (54x84) for a 54"W door. So basically doubled up thus providing more dimming and insulation. If I bought them for blackout I would return them. They fall just short of 84". I was hoping they would puddle at the bottom they do not. ... show more
