For those reviewers complaining that these are not blackout curtains - you’re right! They’re not supposed to be blackout curtains! Nowhere does it claim they are blackout curtains! These are ROOM DARKENING curtains. Look at the second photo in the listing. It shows you that there are 4 levels of curtains - light filtering, room darkening, blackout, and 100% blackout. See the gold border around “room darkening”? It tells you what level these curtains are. So, for those of you looking for “room darkening” curtains - these are great! For less than $8 a panel they are pretty good. They do not block the light but they look good and with the blinds they do help to darken the room a little.

The media could not be loaded. I hate writing bad reviews. They do block the light out. These curtains are definitely temporary because they look cheap. They are about 3 inches too short. It’s kind of embarrassing! Maybe I should have ironed them first.

These curtains are not room darkening. I was expecting them to block out all light, which they don’t. The color looks greenish gray and I was expecting a tan/taupe color. Disappointing.
