I got the 6 person tent for a day trip to the lake. It was great for what we needed it for. Set up and take down wasn’t too bad but we practiced at home before actually using it. Set up was speedy and painless. Takedown took more effort but took all about 3 minutes. We got great ventilation when windows and doors were opened. It is very lightweight. We used it on a hot day for some shade and it was great for that purpose. The quality was great for what we needed, I am not sure how it would hold up the rain since the material is quite thin. The design is nice too. I appreciate the details such as hooks for holding up window flaps open. All in all we are quite pleased.

This tent is very nice, spacious and great quality. It was a very easy setup. It will definitely sleep 4 people. We had to watch a video to fold it back up. It was a little confusing. Once we folded it up, it fit nicely in its carrying case.

If I could give this minus 10, I would. Both product and vendor are bad. This is without doubt the worst shopping experience I have ever had on Amazon. 1. Tent arrived faulty - one of the four guy line tethers is missing - see photo - (which will render this thing useless in a wind). The seller's e-mail address does not work. I contacted them through another means, but never received a reply. 2. In use. As I was camping the next day, I had to use it as-is. Set up is very easy. However, this thing sweats badly. You may as well sleep in a black plastic garbage sack. I spent all night (for three nights) with condensation dripping down on me. My sleeping bag was quite wet by the AM. On the third night it rained, which also proved that the tent is NOT waterproof to much degree either. They state "water-resistant". I would counter "barely". 3. Folding back up. This is a nightmare. There is a technique to it - which involves getting medieval with it if you are daft enough to buy one. Watch the video and practice many, many times. I am a very experienced camper and only bought this because I wanted something simple and compact to throw in my convertible car in order to attend a car-race. I was booked in for four nights but was eager to leave ASAP mainly because of this tent. The thought of one more night! Ugh! I came very close to leaving it there and chalking off the cost to $20 a night being cheaper than a hotel. Next time I will take my proper tent and put up with the extra 20 minutes needed to set up and tear down. Well worth it to keep dry and comfortable. Shame on this company for selling a terrible product, made poorly and having zero customer service.

I own this, a 2-year-old Coleman, and year-old Moon Lence pop-up tent. They work exactly the same way but have some noticeable differences. First, the 5-8 person capacity is overstated. I would consider 4-5 adults to be appropriate. Air flow: I have mixed feelings about the tents - Coleman has large, mesh openings at the top, allowing for heat to be whisked away and for you to have a nice view of the sky. The lower part of the tent however, has ZERO air flow and could result in high temperatures during hot days in California - EchoSmile and Moon Lence has large, mesh door openings at the front and back, allowing for a breeze to flow through (if tent is oriented correctly) -- Moon Lence's top mesh portion is not as large as Coleman's, allowing you to see less of the sky. Benefit of this is that it is likely better to hold in heat -- EchoSmile has NO mesh opening at the top, trapping in heat. It makes up for that with 2 vents near each of the two doors Pockets: Coleman has a large, mesh pocket to store items. The Moon Lence has a small one on each side. EchoSmile has a large and small on each, respective side. Rain: I feel that the Moon Lence, due to the front and back door being mesh all the way through, rain water could potentially enter the tent. However, a sprinkler test resulted in the tent staying surprisingly dry. Perhaps it wouldn't withstand a rainstorm, but these pop up tents aren't designed for that (or snow) anyway. EchoSmile held up well. Deployment: All three deploy quickly. Throw into the air and unfold. Stake the tent and guy lines down to secure against wind. Be sure to purchase a tarp that's slightly smaller than the tent floor to help keep water from pooling and most importantly: to keep any sharp objects from puncturing the tent floor. Packing away: Coleman and Moon Lence, due to them being 4-person tents, fold up the same way. Coleman has a nice video on YouTube to show how. The tent also has some pictures printed onto the carry case, though that's hard to follow. I use a modified technique from Coleman's that works very well. It involves putting the tent in-between your legs before folding the top part down and inward like a crashing wave. The Moon Lence does provide picture instructions with the tent itself. EchoSmile, on the other hand, was the most difficult to figure out on how to fold away. Its larger capacity requires it to be folded differently, and the demo video on Amazon did not show all the steps in detail. It is hard to describe, but you essentially fold the tent together, flatten it, twist it hexagonally, and flip one side over the other to the point where it feels like you are about to break the poles. It took some practice and it does make me wonder how long the poles will fare over time due to the force exerted during the folding process. As with all pop-up tents, they are not suitable for winter camping and heavy rains. They are just not built sturdy enough to withstand strong forces. They DO make up for in convenience with quick deployment and packing. Ultimately, it was a toss-up between the tents, and I decided to give the Coleman to my brother. The Moon Lence slightly won me over with the large, mesh doors for better cooling, though my brother said he felt comfortably fine in the Coleman. The EchoSmile is the only decent option I found for slightly more room than the other two tents. Rather than comfortably fitting 3 persons (Coleman and Moon Lence), the EchoSmile can easily fit four campers.

I really loved this. Came in very handy camping with a toddler who wants to run around. Did not have to waste time setting it up. My only complaint is that it was storming and I had to get out of the tent to go out side and zip up the windows. I feel like that should be an option from the inside. Very study and water resistant. We were actually caught in the hurricane that just came through. Very fast set up. For the money spent, it was perfect and worth it. It was VERY easy to set up. And I was worried would be hard to put back together but the video on Amazon was helpful and I put it up in less than a minute and back into the bag in less than 3 mins. Very easy to carry and store.

** Got Termite Swarms? You'll Want To Read This! ** Ok so I live in Northwest Florida. Anyone who lives in the South should know by now that every Spring these termite swarms are getting worse and worse, they come straight into your home and give you hell. THAT is why I purchased this tent! Now, I don't know how ANYONE can get by without it. This is such an important tool to have during those horrific, terrifying times. What a true peace of mind this tent has given me. Thank me later. I love this tent! it's easy to put up due to the fact that it will literally pop up into place (watch out). like anything, it does not fold back right to put it into the carrying case - that's not really a big deal. it's large enough for two adults with two twin-sized foam pads to sleep on. it's great quality, roomy with two inside pockets and two side windows. both windows and doors have the option to have just the screen zipped up, or both layers - which makes it more secure and private. also, a big highlight is that the screen is like micro-mesh, meaning no bug shall enter! Seriously, if you live in the South - buy yourself one of these tents and find a good spot in your house, get a couple of foam pads. Use a box fan to circulate air. Pile up with some blankets and pillows, turn all your lights off in the house and enjoy the protection. It's SO much better than having a season-long freak out session all night every night.

We bought this because I usually have to set up a tent on my own and wanted something a little easier. Which is a SUPER easy set up. Unfortunately, this arrived 2 days late so I didn’t get to use it for my planned camping trip. But it worked out because the video makes it look like it’s as easy as window shade almost but it took 2 people to twist this back together and I would of ended up looking like I rolled around in dirt if i did this myself. It has great space inside for 2-3 ppl (not 4-6 as advertised, unless you don’t do blow up mattress) One thing I REALLY didn’t like is, to open and close the windows you can only do it from outside of the tent. Which I find insane, if I get hot or cold in the middle of the night I do not want to get up and unzip the tent and walk outside just to unzip the window. With it being late arrival, not being to put away without getting super dirty and not being able to open windows easily from inside. We had to return it.

I learned how to fold it back into its bag after just two tries. The first time, I honestly thought there was no way it would fit back in, but after rewatching the video on the website, I got it right. It’s a 10/10 product, super easy and fast to set up, and once you learn the folding technique, it’s just as quick to pack away. Perfect if you ever need to leave quickly in an emergency. Highly recommend!
