My 12 year old set this up in the playroom and loved it. They just wanted a tent to play in. This was very large and easily accommodated all 3 kids, 7, 8, and 12 years old. One neat thing is that without the rainfly, they could see completely through the tent to watch tv, which they enjoyed as a novelty. It seems sturdy and I'm sure it would work well outside as well, but that's not what we got it for. Really cool tent. Very happy with this. My daughter was able to quickly put this up and take it down on her own, so very easy to do that as well, but of course that's not including the rainfly.

I actually really love this as a backup tent, but only in nice weather. I recently took it camping with us on the St. Lawrence River, and one of my friends used it as their primary tent for a few nights. It was fantastic when the weather was good. I got the two-man, and it really fit one adult comfortably. The roof and sides of the tent itself are all mesh, so it feels much larger inside, and the views are spectacular with the rainfly off. The tub floor is sturdy and great for keeping the rain out. The tent itself is well-made, lightweight, and very easy to set up. However, it rained a few nights when we were there, and the tent leaked. At first it wasn't terrible, a small spot in the front corner near the hole for cords. But, one night, the wind started picking up to around 25-30 mph, and it leaked enough that my friend had to abandon it or risk getting soaked. We checked all the zippered connections but couldn't locate any holes or reason for the leak other than the design of the rainfly—it is very snug and just barely covers the mesh. This is fine in low wind, but the higher winds really pushed the gap open and allowed the water to come through. Plus the mesh itself doesn't have an internal zip-up fly for bad weather like most tents do; this would have kept the rain out. I feel like this is a bit of a design flaw if the intention is to use this tent in "all seasons". I understand adding in zippered flaps to secure the mesh in bad weather would take away from the spacious feeling and open views, but it would also make the tent a lot more secure against the elements. As it is now, this is really only good for light rain; I certainly wouldn't want to weather a storm in it. All told, I still think it's a great fair-weather tent. The mesh-heavy design makes for an unusual experience in such a small tent, and, as I car camp, it's easy to bring it along. It's so small and quick to set up I really do enjoy having it with me on those really beautiful nights. But I wouldn't hike out with it or trust it to be my primary tent in anything other than perfect weather, and even then, only for a night or two.

solid tent. when stored in its bag, its not as compact as some of my 4 person tents. not a big deal. the orange color is nice and not some traffic cone cheesiness. seems very well made. used it recently when our power at our farm was out and it was also raining. no leaks.

The EchoSmile Camping Dome Tent is a solid choice for casual camping trips, especially if you’re looking for something easy to set up. The high-strength fiberglass poles provide good stability, and the tent felt secure, even when the wind picked up. The included rainfly does a decent job of blocking out the rain, and the mesh top and doors allow for great ventilation during hot summer nights. The tent is spacious enough for two to three people, and there's even a handy inner pocket for storing small items. However, I did feel that the material was a bit on the lighter side, which made me question its durability in harsher weather conditions. While it's great for sunny or mild rainy days, I wouldn't rely on it for more extreme camping trips. That said, for festivals, backpacking, or casual weekend camping, this tent offers good value, convenience, and comfort.

This is a nice tent! It is easy to set-up and one person could most certainly do it without issue. It's a 2 person tent, I wouldn't recommend more than that, as it is not really big. The material is nice and feels like it is going to hold up nicely in camping weather.

I took the EchoSmile Camping Dome Tent for a spin during a weekend camping trip at a state park. Priced around $70, I found it to be a solid option for a quick setup. While the instructions claim it can be pitched in under five minutes, I’d say that’s more realistic for someone with a bit more coordination, but even so, I managed to set it up quickly and efficiently. The rain fly did its job well, keeping the interior dry during an unexpected drizzle, and I was pleasantly surprised by how wind-resistant and lightweight the tent felt. So, I set this tent up and am nothing but disappointed with it. The bag it comes in is 2x bigger than it needs to be. Not that a bigger bag is a terrible thing, more on this later. The tent itself sets up easy, using clips to the poles, like many other tents out their. This part is good. The tent is a 2 person, maybe 3 if you sleep shoulder to shoulder. The length is decent, at 5'9" my head and feet don't touch the ends at the same time. The tent is mostly mesh with a "bathtub" floor. The floor comes up pretty high too. Then you have a rainfly for privacy and waterproofing (kind of). The problems with this tent is that, when set up, the walls are saggy and not very taught at all. The rainfly fits terribly. Even if you tied the tie loops to pull the fly away from the tent, the fitment is bad. In fact, when the rainfly is on, it actually compresses the body of the tent, changing its shape. The rainfly doesn't "cover" the door, but has a pole that holds it away from the top of the door, with nothing keeping rain from soaking the door. My rainfly was missing one hook that attaches it to the tent body. As far as the bag having extra room.... You can pack the tarp you'll need to stay dry and a ground tarp, which you should use with any tent. At this price point, there are a lot of better options. I do not recommend this tent.
