Great adhesion for sure even after removing and replacing a few times. One of the light sets is haunted though and comes on at random. Otherwise great product especially for the price.

The overall light output is pretty dim... but I guess that's to be expected for something that runs off of 3 AAA batteries. I'm using it to light up a display shelf and sadly it is just enough to provide illumination, not much else. But now that I've already taken the backing off and used it, I can't return this and I'm now stuck with this feeble light. The adhesive strip on the back is adequate, but given everybody's warnings, I elected to use a staple gun to tack this up to my shelf in addition to the self adhesive strip. One good thing I accidentally found out is that even if you mess up with the staple gun and staple through the strip, it still works... so either I missed the electrical wiring in the strip or the staple has penetrated it but is providing current continuity. Anyway, the most annoying thing besides being dim is that the remote is key for being able to use this light. When I want the lights to be on, I just want the light to be on in constant mode, and not flashing or chasing or twinkling or any other pattern. Unfortunately, if you use the switch on the battery box to turn this on and off, you have to cycle through all the patters (8 of them) to get to the constant on mode. The only way to avoid that is to use the remote to turn it on/off. However, when using the remote the lights remember the last setting you had and will return to that setting when you turn it back on. Sadly, the switch on the box does not do that. So God forbid I lose the remote. ... show more

Purchased these to place on the baseboard in the hall and down the 3 steps in our camper. At night it was very dark and the light switch is at the opposite end of the hallway. These strip lights provide just the right amount of light to make it safer going up and down the steps at night. The remote control makes it easy to turn them on and off when needed. So far they have only come loose in one small spot where the tape was stuck on crooked and got a bit stretched as I was removing the backing. Be sure when peeling the backing to mount them that you don't also pull off the double sided tape. I would but these again. ... show more

After less than a year of nearly everyday use the diodes are starting to give out. The adhesion is so good none have fallen, however be ready to repaint because the adhesive will pull the paint off the wall when removing.

We put this under the stairs as we have had friends missing that step as they come into our house. It worked very well, but the adhesive was just very difficult to peel off. We ended up peeling it off completely and buying new double sided tapes. Otherwise, the remote works, it was bright enough. Serves the purpose well. ... show more

The color is great on these lights. The adhesive is strong and stays in place. The color setting is misleading as there is no way to change between or select any other colors on these lights.

Just what I needed, the 10-foot length was easily trimed to the length that I needed for my project. There are multiple modes between flashing sequential and fadeing. I use the constant on option for my project but there are many options free to choose. The remote works easily and efficiently and allows dimming. The media could not be loaded. These are VERY simple to use, they just need batteries, and the adhesive on the back was strong enough to stay put. If you need a little extra lighting in your closet like I did, then these are a cheap & quick option that works!
