  • It cuts, leaving smooth wood at a good feed rate
This is a 150mm (6”) diameter, carbide blade with 40 teeth for a ½” arbor. It cuts a 2.2mm kerf and comes with a 10 mm (3/8”) arbor reducing ring. This looks like a very well-made blade. It is laser cut and well machined with a respectable amount of carbide on the teeth for future sharpening. While not being a thin kerf design, it cuts, leaving smooth wood at a good feed rate. I would recommend the blade for use based just on how good it looks and cuts. It is hard to guess wrong on a saw blade that looks this “right”. ... show more

  • Well made saw blade for rip cuts.
I ordered this saw blade because I wanted a good blade for ripping wood lengthwise, parallel to the grain without burning or sticking. The 40 tooth pattern on this blade was exactly what I needed. It cut easily and quickly, did not bind or stick while cutting, and did not burn the wood. The teeth held up with no observable signs of wear, and the blade cut as well on the last cut as the first. I see no signs of heat on the blade, and the blade is just as flat and unwarped as it can get. I believe this represents a high quality steel being used in the blade and good hard points on the teeth. I believe this blade represents a very good value, and I can highly recommend it for anyone needing a good rip blade in this size. *NOTE: This blade is NOT a good choice for cross cuts or plywood, mdf, or any cabinet type finish work due to the lower tooth volume (40). For those types of cuts you will need a higher tooth count. ... show more

  • AGRESSIVE - Recommend
This is an exceptionally sharp and aggressive carbide blade that has several integrated cooling slots. It kept its edge through numerous cuts and certainly appears to promise protracted longevity of usage.

  • Good blade
I've used Echo blades before, and they seem consistently dependable...this blade is no different. I use this blade in my Dewalt 20V cordless saw for just about anything wood, including sheet goods and framing lumber, rip cuts as well as cross cuts. I don't use it everyday so I can't comment on longevity, but the carbide teeth are very sharp, and the blade does not cause any undue stress on my saw and battery life. I don't get these thin kerf blades resharpened...because of the low cost, it doesn't make sense. When it dulls, I keep it for demo work on roofs and get a little more use before throwing it away. ... show more

  • Perfect for breaking down my sheet goods
I needed a new blade in my circular saw and even though my other blade was a 7 1/2" blade, I always have the depth set up for breaking down 3/4" plywood or smaller. This blade is doing the job perfectly and with a lit less tear-out than my older OEM worn out blade. The price is very affordable even though I got this one for free with Vine for my honest review. And honestly it's performing perfectly with zero complaints. ... show more

  • High quality, nice cut, great price!
Doesn't fit the saw I wanted it to go in, which is no fault of the blade. As it turns out my DeWalt cordless circ saw has a 5/8" arbor. It does fit an older 18v (NiCad - yuck!) Porter Cable I have, so I put it on that as it didn't even have a blade anymore! I'll just have to buy some 18v-20v PC adapters and I can use this with my 20v batteries which I have a bunch of, and a whole set of the PC 18v tools in the attic, so maybe this was a blessing in disguise! I tested the blade on a 2x4 (untreated) and it cut like a knife through butter, despite a weak battery in the saw. Definitely a finish cut quality. Fairly thin kerf - I took a picture of a partial cut with a plug prong next to it for perspective. Price is great for the quality of the blade! I would have given 5 stars if it was 5/8" arbor with 1/2" and 3/8" reducers. But it's given me a bunch of "new-old" tools to work with, so 4/5! ... show more

  • Great basic blade
Got this for my 20v circular saw. It fits right out of the box - but if you have a smaller arbor - it has a little adapter to make it fit. It gives nice beautiful cuts - it has a medium fine 40 tooth blade. The carbide bits cut through pressure treated boards quickly. It has small slits in the blade to help with cooling and to prevent warping with extended usage. ... show more

  • Cut Above the Rest - A Reliable Workhorse for DIY Projects!
The Echo Corner 6" Circular Saw Blade proved to be a reliable addition to my woodworking toolkit. Its 40-tooth TCT design effortlessly tackled hardwood, softwood, and various materials like plastic, laminate, veneered plywood, making it a versatile choice for a range of projects. The 1/2 inch arbor, along with the included 3/8" arbor reducing ring, offered flexibility for different saw models, which was a definite plus. It performed admirably, providing clean and precise cuts without excessive vibration or noise. However, I noticed a minor issue with wood chip buildup during prolonged use, requiring periodic cleaning for optimal performance. Overall, a dependable blade that delivers quality cuts across multiple materials, though some maintenance might be needed for extended use. ... show more
