This was just buying a clean version of my old mirrors. They still fold down at highway speed and get all wonky with every bump. There's an added tension screw in the side of the mirror that does...... Nothing.

    • Pass these up. Looks good, easy fit, but wont stay in place when driving, so a waste of money.
Got these mirrors that looked good, started to replace the originals, fit was ok. Pretty happy with the price I paid for the two mirrors, until I got on the freeway and the wind knocked them all over the place. Emailed the company, still no reply. Tried to put them in place again, but it didn’t take much driving to have them fail. Great price, looked good on my Jeep, but I cant see out of my mirrors so wish I never would of bought these. ... show more

    • IT'S ADJUSTABLE FOR POSITIONING STIFFNESS
Well the negative whining about floppy loose mirrors did give me pause, but Amazons return policy gave me the encouragement to give them a try. So far I have only replaced the BROKEN drivers side mirror assy. And when I first mounted it at night it would move when you closed the door... Easy fix in the light of day the set screw for adjusting the mirror became obvious and the judicious use if a Allen wrench cured the loose mirror conundrum... Passenger side when the weather permits comfortable working conditions. ... show more

    • Tighten adjustment screws
My mirrors get abused. I ordered even after poor reviews. I tightened the adjustment screws before installing and have zero issues.... in fact the OE passenger mirror is moving more than the replacement!!!! The replacement passenger is of standard reflection, not closer than appears. It will work much better on my trail rig as i spot my rear tires with it. ... show more

    • FLIMSY. Mirrors move out of place with just shutting the door or going over a speed bump.
constantly have to adjust the mirror because even wind resistance at 30-40 mph moves the mirrors. I have tried tightening the adjustment screws but they are at max and still no solution. Beautiful mirrors and look great on my CJ. Adjusting the driver side constantly is a hassle but almost tolerable. Passenger side is a pain in the a$$. ... show more

    • Bad Product - Heads Can't be Tightened Enough, and Mirror Glass is Distorted.
I read several other reviews before ordering these mirrors. Most of them stated that their main drawback was that they moved around. Then I saw another review stating that the screws underneath the mirror head could be tightened. Knowing that I was paying considerably less than for factory mirrors, I decided to give them a shot. Well, the packaging was great. That's where everything goes downhill. The mirror heads were definitely loose out of the box. I tightened the 3 phillips head screws as much as I could, but the heads still move around some. The other big issue is that the mirror glass is distorted right in the middle. It's a bit difficult to describe, but even though the glass doesn't appear wavy when looking at, the middle portion of the glass produces a wavy and distorted image. It's kind of like those mirrors that you sometimes see in a dressing room. You can't see any imperfection when you look at it closely from an upward angle, but the image distorts when you back away and look at it as you would normally use it. I purchased these as an extra set to have for my spare doors so I don't have to switch back and forth. For this reason I didn't feel like spending a ton of money on them. I'm still debating whether or not to keep them as I still don't prefer to spend a ton on an extra set of mirrors. Unfortunately, though, they're only functional at keeping law enforcement from pulling me over for not having mirrors at all. ... show more
