    • Great Mirrors for a Compact Tractor
Size: 2.6in-Super Strong Magnet
I added these mirrors to my John Deere 1015R to let me see behind when working with my front end loader and bush hog. The build of the mirrors is really good for the price. The magnets are large and strong, and are coated in a rubber like coating to protect whatever metal they are attached to. Installing is just a matter of finding a spot that is metal and will give you a good view from your seat. I used the large metal braces of the front end loader support on each side of the tractor. The magnets stuck on easily and don't move. They are really strong magnets. The mirrors have a good range of adjustment and were easy to adjust to give me the view I wanted from the seat of the tractor. The mirrors have a convex field of view which gives a wider view than the size would suggest. They are the perfect match for my tractor. Definitely recommend them. ... show more

Updated - second mowing and the Mirrors due to its size, lack of good magnetic hold area, plus the lawn terrain, would not stay on in a fashion to be useful. Unfortunately have to return it. Original review - Good magnetic mirror and will not work as shown with a plastic Deere hood but can be attached to the mirror holes using a contraption mentioned below. Was looking for a side mirror for my 3 year old John Deere S100 riding mower but most of them were too costly for the few times I would be backing it up or a straight up generic brand did not exist for the s-series model. Found a video online for one such contraption (B0DD3DCHSH) but it was not available for me to try right away. So went with this magnetic mirror assuming my riding mower hood was metal but I was so wrong. So I got 4 butterfly clips (nuts), couple of long screws and 2 L-shaped brackets which were laying around. This provided the magnetic field for the mirrors but the key was to use the short L side for the mirror hole, so the hood could open without impacting the attachment. Unfortunately I do have to remove the mirrors after every mowing as I realized it can fall off while mowing or even by slight push. Recommended if you want to try but I will have to find the other mirror and see what it does. ... show more
