I used this CARVALAX eccentric flaring tool kit for a recent HVAC mini split install, and overall, it performed very well. The flares came out clean and uniform, thanks to the eccentric cone design and solid clamp alignment. It worked equally well on both copper and aluminum lines, and the 45° angles seated properly with no leaks during vacuum testing. The clamp accommodates both metric and imperial pipe sizes, which saved me the hassle of switching tools between jobs. The single screw clamp mechanism is simple and effective, though I’d recommend double-checking alignment before each flare to ensure perfect centering. The included cutter and deburring tool were decent, though not as heavy duty as the flaring tool itself. The carrying case is compact and well organized, great for transporting to job sites. My only knock is that it doesn't have 3/16th, and the handle could use a bit more grip texture it gets slippery with gloves on. Otherwise, this kit feels like it’s built to last and is well worth the price for HVAC or refrigeration techs.

Good flaring tool, grips the pipe well and resulted in perfect flares the first try. Cutting tool worked ok, it seems to want to crush the copper pipe some, but it did the job. The deburring tool worked perfect. The case is nice and keeps everything secure and organized. Easily flared both 3/4 and 3/8 tubing.
