I love this cardigan and have gotten so many compliments while wearing. Is nice and heavy, the sleeve length is long enough for me ( I have long arms ), it keeps me warm. I am am 5'7" and size 14/16 and ordered the XL which fits perfectly. The only thing is the part of sweater with the pretty design ( lapel ) wants to remain straight and not reveal the geometric design element along the edge. I steamed it back and tried to put a crease in it to help it stay folded but that did not fix it. Resorted to using 2 safety pins to keep the lapel folded back so the design stays visible while wearing but will eventually get out my needle and thread to hand sew the edge so it stays put. The marketing photo shows the backside of the edge in a portion of the sweater on the model but this backside stayed evident from top to bottom without a little help from me. It’s absolutely beautiful but was too big and baggy for me. I normally would wear a 2X in order to wear heavy clothing underneath, but I would only need an XL. I returned it. Not super impressed with the design or sizing of this sweater. I normally wear a small but I had purchased this larger size as a gift for a loved one. When I tried the sweater on to check sizing before gifting it, I saw that it was much smaller than planned. It was actually more the sizing for fit I would order for myself to obtain the same look as the model in the description. I did look at the sizing chart before ordering to determine which size to order, but it's just not the correct sizing for the style depiction they're presenting. The other problem is the pattern of the sweater is quite flat and more like a printed fabric, unfortunately. This makes the appearance lacking in quality. I'm not fond of the pattern in person. I was hoping for a decent almost boho-like style but I don't feel it resembles that. In order for the reverse/non-patterned side of the design to stay hidden underneath in front, leaving the wide border at the opening, (visible in the pictures I provided), you get a chest area of a max 16". This doesn't allow for a looser style unless you size up a couple of sizes. As I mentioned before I wear a small, this is a large that was to be a gift- yet fits me more appropriately. The sweater however is soft, and not scratchy, providing a comfortable slight warmth which is nice. Overall I don't really recommend this sweater. It doesn't seem worth the purchase to me and I chose to not gift it. I ended up running around for a completely different gift. ... show more
