  • Reliable, Fast, and Super Convenient
I’ve been running this charger for a while now and it hasn’t let me down once. It handles all the battery types I use, from TV remotes to flashlights, and it charges them quickly. Even my bigger D cells are ready faster than I expected. The LCD display is easy to read and gives me peace of mind knowing each battery is charging properly. I also like the discharge function because it helps extend the life of my rechargeables. For the price and versatility, this charger is a solid choice that makes managing batteries way less of a hassle. ... show more

  • Worked RIght Out of the Box
Very well done! Came with instructions too small for an old guy like me to easily read. So, I just plugged it into 115V AC outlet, inserted 2 each 9 volt batteries. For the 9 volt batteries, the charger's lights at the battery's location in the charger turned red during the entire charge and when they're charged the lights turn off: pretty simple. Batteries charged 100% in (in my case) 90 or so minutes. I like that I can charge 2 each 9 volt batteries simultaneously. It simply worked right outta the box. 9V charge is important because of the onboard tuners in a couple of my guitars. This is my go to charger from now on. Thanks Engineers at EBL. Elegantly made! ... show more

  • Initial thoughts
I like it. But not a 5 out of 5 product. While it individually charges my AA and AAA batteries I have found it rather poor with 9V batteries. So charging works well with my Energizer Rechargeable AA and AAA. It is quick and honestly easy to do. But when I bought a set of 4 of the 9V batteries (by EBL) I didn't realize how basic and lack of information it suffers from. I have read the "manual" and "instructions" on this charger several times. Only to have no information to go by on 9V charging other than small little red LED lights will turn on. But, it doesn't say if it has any information displayed through the LED lights. Like flashing for charging, or red for charging and green for charged. It simply says there's an LED light for the 9V. So I assumed they applied some basic LED indication and a green light will tell me it's full or the light turns off. Nope, left a pair of 9V on the charger for 2 days waiting for something. Nothing. I went to their website, no information. So, I've concluded that the light just indicates it is connected properly or not and you need to do the work of keeping track of when to unplug it. So now, I'm just hoping I didn't damage my 9V batteries for leaving them on the charger for an extremely long period. 1 star off for not providing better information on the charger and not having a better indicator system for the 9V. It is one of the main reasons why I chose this charger, for the option to charge 9Vs. ... show more

  • Great charger at a good price
I bought this charger in February 2025 to replace one that stopped working after 2 years. I am generally very happy with it. It charges the batteries a little faster than the old charger did and it doesn't get nearly as hot as the old charger did. I have only used it to charge C, D, AA and AA batteries so I can't comment on how well it charges the other types, but it does a great job with the batteries I do charge with it. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to others. ... show more

  • Good value for the money
It works very well even though it takes a long time to charge. I like that it shows you when each battery is fully charged.

  • Work well and can charge odd number of betteries
This charger works well. I can put odd number of batteries in and still get them charged (most of charger need to charge a pair of batteries). It also has a good indicator to show the status of charging.

  • Not that impressed but company support is good
Update: EBL reached out after my review and offered a replacement product or refund and issued me a refund for the charger. I appreciate their follow up and standing behind their products even if it didn't work out for me. Maybe I just had a lemon. Added additional star back to review because their customer support seems good and as a result I would be willing to give them another try in the future. Original Review: Seemed okay at first and I guess its working as its supposed to but not impressed with the performance. Painfully slow charging Amazon Basics AA and C NIMH batteries. I have other chargers from other brands that are charging the same batteries in half the time (or less) and have many of the same refresh/discharge features of this model. Batteries don't sit particularly great within the compartment and when attempting with a D cell it would sometimes report an error mid charge because of the seating. ... show more
