BtrPower LiFePo4 Battery is great and solved some big issues for my ebiking. First, is the safety factor. LiFePo4 doesn't self-combust like the 18650s can. If you've seen the videos or news on that issue then you know. 2nd it doesn't overheat and shut down like by stock battery did. That's better than self-combustion but still a possibly dangerous annoyance. 3rd is cost. My bike has a proprietary type battery, Reention Max, in the frame style. There are no parts available and they cost about 3x as much as this battery and there is no way to get the mounting bracket for them even from the manufacturer (I've been looking for years). It's cheaper to buy a new bike than new batteries. Yep, not kidding. This BtrPower Battery solved that with lots of money to spare and I can mount it however I like. Win, Win, Win for me. I used that extra money to put dual-wheel motors on the bike! This battery runs a 1500W rear motor. It goes 20 miles at 42 mph pulling a trailer. On the front 1000W motor I use the stock battery on a separate controller and throttle for going quicker in traffic or up hills. It's nice to have a redundant system just in case. Wait there's more! These guys are great to work with and they'll respond super fast and solve any issues right away. I'm probably going to double my BtrPower LiFePo4 Battery to double my mileage! Also, you just plug these in and charge them up, unlike the 18650s where you have to buy an expensive charger that charges to only 80% or 90% if you want them to last. That alone is worth the change of chemistry. Add the safety factor and it's an easy choice. I'm all about LiFePo4 now and these guys doing it right. Pics - The battery is inside the HF box inside the trunk with no heat issues. The charger fits in the box with some tools too. Super easy to carry up a bunch of stairs this way.     • Awesome customer service and a great product
Let tell you about great customer service. I bought a 10 ah 48 volt battery for a new ebike I was building. When I received it the package was in pretty bad condition. Upon opening the package despite being fully surrounded by high density foam. The shipping company still managed to damage the battery. Although the damage was not terribly severe and I decided to try the battery. After 5 or so minutes the motor would shut off. I assumed that the battery was bad. So I sent BtrPower an email and shortly after got an email back from a representative. I was still checking the bike out and did not respond back immediately. In the meantime I tried a friends battery and had same results. Turned out the brand new bafang display controller was the problem all the time. So the battery was not the problem even though it had slight cosmetic damage I decided to just keep it. So I emailed the BtrPower representative and told them the battery was going to be ok. He insisted that I send pictures of the damage so I did. At this point he ask did I want them to send me a new battery. I replied they did not have to as it was clearly abused during shipping. He insisted again they wanted to make it right. And they did. As far as there batteries go I think they are excellent quality. As far as there customer service goes it is awesome. I have never had anyone go out of there way like they did to take care of something that was clearly not there fault. Thanks Again BtrPower THE BATTERY With the battery at full charge of 54.8 volts my wife made a 25.5 mile ride with voltage ending 48.5 volts. This was done with a Bafang BBS02 that has been programmed and using PAS mode on level 3 using between 25 and 125 watts while riding and occasionally up to 250 watts. With that being said she should get around 45 to 50 miles on a charge. This far exceeds my expectations for a 10 ah 48 volt. ... show more

Buyer beware. After a few months after use, the voltage decreased drastically and wouldn't last long. Contacted seller to have it repaired under warranty who persistently pushed to get a replacement sent for $100, then $50. Declining, they have me an address of a house in California to ship it to myself. No carrier would accept the battery as it was faulty. The only way to legally ship it was using a shipping account registered and insured for such cases. The seller refused to provide shipping. Requested and received a full refund through Amazon. Had the battery recycled locally. ... show more
