great tire quality. Bought these to replace my Apollo Go rear scooter. I bought a few tools in advanced that youtube recommended I have before switched out the tires, but once I had those tool, 3/10 difficulty. really just the time it takes to unscrew the wheel and putting it back.

Great tire

This tire was for my son’s Apollo go scooter and will replace the other tire with one of these soon. One side is relatively easy to put on. The second side is much harder and will require a small pry bar. it was hard to keep in place to mount the other side. I saw a video where zip ties around the tire was used. That really helped keep everything in place for the pry bar. I did not use zip ties for all of it but about half of it all the way around the tire. The first side was already on.. i saw other posts where they are having extreme difficulty mounting the tire. I would recommend the zip tie method.

Fits Phantom GoGo A8 Scooter

This is the tire you want if you need a replacement for a Phantom GoGo A8 scooter sold at Costco. There are YouTube videos of the OEM wheels being replaced with solid rubber tires, but this product preserves the pneumatic tubeless tire experience using the valve stem that’s built into the hub of the motor. That said, installation is a challenge. You obviously can’t boil the rear wheel because of the electronics, so getting the original tire off requires tin snips or a grinder tool to get through the 4 steel beads that are on each sidewall. The new one will snap into place using tire irons and an extra set of hands. Avoid using heat or the self-sealing gel will liquify. The rim gets pretty scratched up with all the prying it takes. Took a minute to get mine airtight because the bead wasn’t quite lined up and air kept escaping during inflation. One we knocked it into place, tire held pressure and rode well.

No more flats, finally

Switched to these after constantly dealing with flats on my scooter and honestly should have done it sooner. Hit a nail a few weeks ago and the tire sealed itself — didn’t even notice until I checked later. Installation is a little snug but nothing crazy. This is my second order and I’ll keep buying them.

Replacement tire for Phantom GoGo A8

Yes, this is a fitting replacement tire for a Phantom GoGo A8 scooter sold at Costco. I have about 1,200 miles on the scooter and had a cut in the rear tire. The original A8 tires are not self-sealing. In addition, I paid a bike shop $65 to replace that busted A8 rear tire, as I did ot want to bother with the handling, including the electrical motor and cabling.

I bought this here because tires in the official store were out of stock and I couldn't wait. These worked great for my Apollo Go. Just watch their official video on how to replace the tire without getting the self-sealing goo all over the place. If you're replacing the rear tire, also watch the specific video on how to remove the rear wheel. I was able to do it with just a little elbow grease by myself
