I bought this toiletry kit based on one that a friend had purchased from eBags. His had the added functionality of an expandable section, which provided 2-3 inches additional space for longer trips. Unfortunately, eBags does not have the expandable version anymore. That said, there are two sizes of this kit, differing only in depth, so be sure you choose the one that most suits your travel needs. I really like that I can pack this kit on top of my packed luggage, freeing up space in the main section of my bag for shoes and clothing. I almost always have TSA PreCheck, so I don't have to worry about taking out my liquids, provided they meet the TSA's 3.4-ounce (100 milliliter) guideline. Nonetheless, I keep a separate bag of my liquids, in case I have to screen those separately for some reason; but, I leave room in this eBags Pack-It-Flat toiletry kit to put the bag of liquids, so that everything is in one place. I haven't thrown out my old, regular-sized Tumi toiletry kit yet. I want to try the pack-it-flat kit for a few more trips before I decide which one better suits my travel style.

I love these bags. I've tried several different toiletry bags over the years because I like to have everything when I go to the gym (plus then when I travel I don't have to worry about forgetting anything). Most bags are only made to hold a few things, but I need all my shower items plus facial products, hair products and "after-shower" items. This is my third one over the past several years - I use them everyday and ultimately just wear them out! I use this for my gym toiletries and it holds everything I need. When I travel, I just grab this bag because it holds all of my toiletries. It is really well designed, there are different pockets for "wet" items which are done in mesh, and the side pockets hold the things you need after the shower. The side pockets are lined so the items inside don't get wet. When you pack it in your bag, it lays flat at the bottom and is only about two inches high. I'll keep buying these.

This is the BEST toiletry bag that I have ever used. It has lots of room to store all my cosmetic needs ( and I have many). The end zipper case was large enough to fit my electric tooth brush case and two small tubes of tooth paste. The other zipper end fit four ( I use different brands of mascara ) tubes of mascara, two eyeliners pencils, a brow pencil, a lash comb, and two lip pencils. Next to this zipper section, I fit four containers of BareMinerals 0.03 oz size. I was also able to fit a case with my make-up brushes in the middle compartment. There was still plenty of room left for other miscellaneous items. This bag fit into my suitcase easily. I did not have to unpack the travel bag to use the items inside. It made cruise traveling so much easier and kept all my items organized. I plan to buy another one of these travel bags to organize my medicines and electronics and other items for traveling instead of a bunch of clear containers that have to be constantly packed and unpacked and reorganized.

For years and years Iโve been leaving a large part of my suitcase open for a bulbous toiletry bag. No more! This pack flat thing is a game changer for travel. Why did I wait? Well worth it. It holds plenty but not a ton.

Seemed big with nothing in it but that's just because you don't put anything on top of anything else with this - when you have all your toiletries in one flat layer this is just barely big enough. Actually left one or two non-essential items to keep it from being too bulky. About the size of a folded sweater or folded pair of jeans, much easier to pack in a roller bag or rolling garment bag where everything else is flat. In my rolling garment bag I usually put a pair of shoes for the gym in the shoulder corners - before I used to also have to fit a toiletry kit in that area, now I don't. Context: I'm a guy with more toiletries than most men but certainly less than most women). Can post a pic if someone wants.

EBags are amazing and have totally changed the way I pack when I travel. The Pack-it-Flat Hanging Toiletry kit is great and Iโve used mine for years. It has a lot of zippered pockets and slots inside for keeping cosmetics, medicines, toiletries, you name it - thereโs room for everything in this bag. I purchased a black one for a Christmas present for a friend who travels a lot and they loved it. And it opens and hangs from a hook so all your things are right there when you need them.

I am obsessed with this bag. I travel to remote places for work and with all of the layovers, I prefer to use only carry-ons. Toiletries were a problem before finding this kit. I love the lay flat design and it fits perfectly in my carry on spinner. Iโve found a place to hang it with the integrated hanger in every hotel room so far, which was a challenge with my old bag. So far the quality seems very high. Iโm boring so I got the black. Would buy again!
