Well built. I really like that the grinder and faces up rather than down like a lot of other grinders, allowing the salt to fall out all over the place. If you so choose you can reverse with the grinder, face down, which allows you to grind as much salt as you need into the cover-cap and then remove the cap and sprinkle on as much as you need or pinch it as is necessary and then scatter onto food. Very good design, which I highly recommend.

Loved this when we got it. Worked great and is adjustable for coarseness of pepper. Counter stayed clean due to good design that makes you flip it, grinder side up for storage. The poor part of design is the parts holding grinder inside are plastic and gave out/broke after 2 1/2 years. (silver in picture is result of the black plastic part splitting). That is only a fair run ~ expected it to last longer. Debating repurchase, as I do like the counter clean!
