This is easily one one of the best bang for the buck trail trucks out there. Even better is that with a small amount of upgrades it can be a decent crawler. It will never be a Capra or an Optic in the crawler areas but it will hold it's own for a big top heavy full bodied rig. Put in a Hobbywing Fusion Pro and it's a trail master. If you can afford the brushless version, I would go that route but this one is amazing for what it is. Just buy it... You will love this thing. ... show more

First off I want to give this 5 stars. It works amazing. The reason for the score is 1) it arrived open. 2) there was supposed to be metal trim pieces that were missing that go on each side of the doors. 3) there is a broken cosmetic piece on the top. It could be from the seller but it’s not worth my time to send it back. When paying this much you would think it would arrive whole. This is my first RC vehicle. The value is here because out of the box this thing does it all. Two speed transmission, front and rear lockers, lights, waterproof motor. Steering ability is nice and tight. It’s a lot of fun ripping around the snow this time of year. ... show more

I think I love it, it's by no means an Element Ecto or Redcat Fusion, or Vanquish, as far as rock crawling, but very fun. My first time out everything was fine but at the end I started having intermittent gearbox problems. The motor would spin but no movement. Not sure if it was me or the car.
