I am glad I decided to buy these string light poles. They are very sturdy, holding some decent weight. They are very easy to install, not taking long at all. You can adjust the height by removing pole segments. I highly recommend this, especially for such a great price.

These poles were easy to assemble, but it seems the base piece is too narrow to support the weight of the lights. Both poles lean in toward each other and I cannot screw the base into the deck any tighter. I tried propping with a heavy piece of cement but it still leans. I am going to take them down and just hang the lights from my deck railing instead. UPDATE: the seller gave me a full refund without my requesting it and even though it was past the cutoff! Great customer service. For that reason I changed my review from 3 to 4 stars. If you aren’t sure about buying this, I’d say give it a try. It might work for you. ... show more

I love these so much I just bought extra while they were on sale. The poles themselves are so well-made, and even despite a year of being in the elements there is minimal rust. The little rust that exists was at the joints where you screw them together, and was easily cleaned with some steel wool. Several of my friends have much less sturdy versions of these, so I'm very pleased with the quality of these poles. ... show more

solid, good quality but one did not work because the base was missing the threaded piece and another had cross threads that would not work with the last piece that holds the lights. Should be tested before they sending them out. I hope I can return one or get it replaced.

These poles are great for holding up market lights! We installed them on our deck, and they look great. The only complaint I have is that they definitely have some lean in them when installed. The 2-pack was the same price as this one pole which is why I went with the other ones. Huge mistake! I wish I would've just ordered these poles from the start. The quality is excellent!
