Smaller than I expected, but that's my fault for not converting to freedom units.
A bit small for VRAM but you can stack two of them side by side to about cover it. These are definitely for VRMs. One thing to note: these are miserable for sticking to the chips. The pre-attached thermal tape does not adhere well at all to a chip die surface. I ended up using the existing thermal tape that was on my VRAM already and just stuck these to that. So far it's been fine, but they still could come off easily. Fortunately the tape I had there was already sticky. On the other hand, my card has a midplate that covers the VRMs and I just kind of stuck these on top of that for a bit more heat dispersion because.... well, I had them so why not? And it turns out they stick like glue against a metal surface. They locked down to the midplate like they were welded to it. Overall these are okay. They definitely helped my temps a bit. But I'd recommend replacing the thin 2-sided thermal tape included with something actually useful.

Good for my gtx 1080ti
I got these for my gtx 1080 ti I was putting the kraken g12 water-cooling bracket on and these are on my ram. They work well and get the job done! I haven't noticed any improvement over not having them but I never had problems without them either. PROS: -Fits on my ram modules -stealth black to match my pcb and case -sticks pretty well once I cleaned all the ram chips with rubbing alcohol -inexpensive CONS: -Slightly taller than what I would've liked -the protective plastic on the adhesive thermal pads wasn't the easiest to remove but that's its job so I wasn't too bothered. I got these to feel safe about not having to worry about setting my over clocked ram on fire, so far so good! They've been on my gpu for a few weeks and are still there so woohoo!

Doesn't stick
If you have a device where the heat sink is mounted on (and resting on) the heated item, and the item isn't moving much (like a desktop PC) this will work just fine. The adhesion is not very thermally conductive, but it works. In such occasions, I would recommend thermal grease instead. If your item requires the heat sink to be mounted vertically (which mine is), or facing downward, the adhesion will loosen. The adhesion is very poor on these units! Both in cooling as in sticking to the item to cool. In this case, I would go with the cheaper non-adhesion units, and use a thermal epoxy. Where might it work well? Well, if you have an item that is mostly stationary, but occasionally can be moved (like a radio, or a desktop PC), but that for the most part remains vertically oriented (with sink mounted horizontal, facing up). The adhesion is just enough to prevent the heat sink from falling off through low lateral motion. In short: I wouldn't by these. I would buy the non-stick, and provide your own sticky solution. A dual sided tape, or some plain epoxy mixed with carbon provides better stickyness and heat transfer, than the adhesion used on this sink!

Works great on EVGA Gtx 1060 mini
Great for my EVGA mini 1060. Having cheap memory headsinks is better than not having any heatsinks at all! This reduced my GPU temps by 8-5 degrees. My gpu used to stay at 85c under full load which caused thermal throttling. Removing the stock heatsink and installing a third party heatsink and fan reduced my temps from 85c to 74c. The last and only possible cooling solution on my GPU were these ram heatsinks. My gpu temp stays at 70c under full load while playing games like Mass effect Andromeda and Witcher 3. Those games will utilize the 1060 at 100% and with a mini gpu, it can be taxing on your temps unless you have a third party gpu and ram heatsinks.

Perfect! Comes with actual thermal tape.
If you're looking for a cooling solution for a NEMA17 stepper that takes about 10 seconds to instal, this is what you want. Got these for my CR-10S after installing the stepper dampers. With the vibration isolators, the motors couldn't sink heat into the frame and would get really toasty. These are a perfect solution to that. They came with thermal tape installed which makes installation incredibly quick,

Does not stick to vertical components
Maybe it's because I'm trying to span four little 4mm vrms with this 14mm heat sink, but it hardly seems to stick at all. The heat sink falls off after about a minute, even though I cleaned the components with alcohol and let them dry. UPDATE, two weeks later. I glued the heatsinks on with "thermal glue" and let them set for a day in a horizontal position before tilting them back up to vertical. They stuck firm. But I noticed that the "thermal glue" looked, felt, and smelled a lot like the thermal tape that came on these heatsinks. So I suspect it's actually the same stuff, and maybe the trick is to let the heatsinks rest in a horizontal position while they set, before you tip them into their final position.

Nice small heatsinks.
I'm using a couple in an electronics project to cool the controller IC on a couple buck converters. For my application I removed the thermal tape and set them in place with some JB Weld epoxy. I did lightly sand the heat sink and the IC both for good adhesion. And yes I know that they're permanently applied, which is what I wanted. No fear of the thermal tape letting go. The controllers now run close to 12 degrees F cooler. So they work for me. The part I'm using these on is permanently soldered in place. Both the part and heat sink are inexpensive enough not to worry about replacement.

Great quality multi purpose heat sink with adhesive thermal compound. The compound sticks great.
The size is designated on the specs, so make sure you like what you see b4 ordering. Then it will fit what you intend. I am using it for 50 amp bridge rectifiers. Running them at 10 amps in a motorcycle application and there is some wind blowing on them so active cooling not needed on the heat sink.. Just passive. The termal compound sticks fine and dandy. Gently texture your item with 400 grit sandpaper and clean it with acetone very well. If your item is sensitive to acetone, use pure alcohol. I have no transmissive info on the thermal paste or the heat sink.
