  • Absolutely worked to keep my Subwoofer cool
I was always concerned with how hot the back of my home theater's subwoofer got when turned on. Apparently, it's normal and not a problem, but I still don't like that it was almost too hot to touch. That can't be good for the thing. So I bought these little heat sinks and just randomly stuck them to part that gets hot. It made a drastic difference. It still gets warm... but not hot. They worked incredibly well to the point I'm going to order a ton of these things and put them on every heat producing electronic that I own. Especially my Ebike chargers. Those get super hot. If you want an inexpensive way to drop the heat coming off your electronics, try these out. They actually work really well ... show more

  • Exactly as advertised
I couldn't use them for my goal but they're exactly as advertised, and were difficult to take off when I needed to replace them cuz they were too big for my use case (inside a laptop case) but overall that's all good things. It's my fault I didn't measure properly.

  • very small
Like small enough to fit on a dime small but seem to work well

  • Razor MX125 power tool mod
Use these at heat sinks for my Razor MX125 kids dirt bike. Couldn’t find a heat sink for the motor after doing weeks of research. Only other option was to have one custom made for a crap ton of money! I used these to go around the motor and then for added security I used stainless wire twisted snug through some of the fins so they stay in place. Helps keep the motor cool with the power battery tool modification. ... show more

  • Lowered Temp
These work great and simple to apply. Significantly lowered the temps on a couple chips is the were too hot to touch.

  • Smaller than I expected, but that's my fault for not converting to freedom units.
A bit small for VRAM but you can stack two of them side by side to about cover it. These are definitely for VRMs. One thing to note: these are miserable for sticking to the chips. The pre-attached thermal tape does not adhere well at all to a chip die surface. I ended up using the existing thermal tape that was on my VRAM already and just stuck these to that. So far it's been fine, but they still could come off easily. Fortunately the tape I had there was already sticky. On the other hand, my card has a midplate that covers the VRMs and I just kind of stuck these on top of that for a bit more heat dispersion because.... well, I had them so why not? And it turns out they stick like glue against a metal surface. They locked down to the midplate like they were welded to it. Overall these are okay. They definitely helped my temps a bit. But I'd recommend replacing the thin 2-sided thermal tape included with something actually useful. ... show more

  • Exactly as described, adhesion is solid, conducts heat relatively effectively
These arrived quickly and work great. I'm using them on a larger device to pull heat from an image processing chip and they get the job done well. I like these because they are tiny so I can place them in positions that would be awkward for larger heat sinks, and it saves me having to cut out custom parts. ... show more
