I needed a small heatsink for a LED lighting element to use in a project I'm working on. I found one in my "parts box" at home, but it was really considerably bigger than what was needed to handle the job. But when I saw this 10-pack of Easycargo 15X15X6.5 mm aluminum heat sinks on Amazon which were a much more reasonable size for what I needed, I ordered them quickly. I only needed ONE heat sink for now, but there is a good possibility that I'll be needing additional ones in the future, so now I'll be all set! Besides being just about the perfect size for my application, and besides being really nicely made, I really like that these parts have the Thermally Conductive adhesive pads already applied to the sinks. I don't even have to use thermal paste! All I needed to do is just peel the protective film off the front side of the adhesive strip and stick it to the LED - nice and convenient! ... show more

These 15x15mm heatsinks are the perfect matching fit for Raspberry Pi's CM3 and Zero SoCs, covering the whole chip and not extending beyond. Application is relatively easy; getting the thin blue plastic sheet off the thermal pad is the most difficult part. I'm a bit disappointed that the temps (~60) haven't dropped as much as I hoped, but it's still quite a bit better than without (~80), and at least the thermal throttle is much more delayed now. Adding a heatsink without much CPU usage probably won't make much of a difference, but getting a heatsink is almost mandatory with sustained peak utilization, and even better with a fan. ... show more
