Recommended by the fountain manufacturer, this liquid keeps the buildup of algae down next to zero. You do have to add half a teaspoonful a couple of times a week as you add water to keep the fountain full, but at this rate, the 64 oz bottle will last a year of more.     • I really like that this product is relatively safe for the environment
I have to use a lot more than indicated by the instruction. I used a cup of the solution and still could not get rid of the algae in my 50 gallon fountain. Even when starting with a clean fountain, the maintenance quantity indicated on the instructions is not nearly enough. I need to use a lot more than instructed and have to use the product daily! However, I really like that this product is relatively safe for the environment, so if you are able to do the daily upkeep and use more product than the instructions indicate, then this product may work well for you. ... show more
