This was really easy to set up and since it is just suction cups, it can be removed and moved around pretty easily. I really wanted a bed that folds up so that I can close my blinds when the cats are not hanging in the bed. This is pretty seamless and the little guys love it.

I was a little worried that the suction on the cups wouldn't be strong enough to supoet my, erm....'stout' cat, but I'm impressed. First time up I placed him there and kept an eye, but it held steady so I put him back on the ground and let him jump up on his own. I have it set about 3 feet off the ground on a (very heavy) sliding glass door and it bore the force of his landing no problem. No idea how the cups will hold up with age but out of the box this is a solid product. Plus, he loves it.

The second I got this in the window, I put my ginger boy on it to test it out. He will not get down, despite the other cats queueing for their turns! It seems sturdy in the window and gives my boys somewhere new to "Hunt" all the birdies outside! I dropped a star for the instructions. It wasn't difficult to put together, but the instructions weren't SUPER clear either. I'm happy, though. Especially at this price point!

Previously I reviewed another Zakkart cat perch, the size large windowsill-mounted model. Just like the other product, this one has a thoughtful design and is constructed from quality materials. And just like the other one, I put my cat in it this morning and she's been there ever since. The so-called "medium" size still provides enough room for my fat 15ish lb kitty to lay herself out like a solar-activated pancake. As you can see from the photo, medium (white) covers most of the width of my window, as opposed to all of it like the large size (gray). The benefits to the suction cup design are that it is more easily movable, there are more locations on the window it can be installed on, and if for whatever reason you don't want your cat to access it, it can be folded up. The hammock is also cleverly zippered securely to the frame so is easier to remove than the windowsill model. I was a little bit worried about if the suction cups would be enough to hold my cat, but after following the installation instructions, I'm now more worried about the window itself breaking before the suction ever does. Don't let the "medium" size or the suction cup design scare you away, this is a great product that my cat loves to use. If your cat loves looking out the window or sitting in the sun, they too are sure to love this.

We have two cats, and as cats tend to be, they are very investigative. They also love to look out our windows and will climb onto the back of a chair, a windowsill, a shelf, etc., that is near a window, and then lay down as they watch what's going on outside. When we saw this perch on Amazon, we immediately ordered it, believing our cats would love it. Once it arrived, it took me about 15 minutes to put it together. Then I cleaned the suction cups and the window, before attaching it. It was very simple to attach. I picked up our largest cat and placed him on the shelf. He didn't last long, as he immediately jumped off and ran away. After he left our second cat got on without any encouragement from us, and sat there for a while, enjoying the view. After she got off, our other cat came back and climbed on without any encouragement from us. He has been there for a while now, exploring, getting comfortable, and cleaning himself. It would appear that he really loves it. Our other cat is close by, kind of waiting for her brother to get off the perch so she can get on. By the looks of things, it doesn't look like that is going to happen very soon. We may need to order a second one so both cats can enjoy them.
