When I received the comforter, it emitted a strong chemical smell (from the factory treatment of the down, I suppose). I had to air it out of the rain for 2 weeks, then when the sun finally came out I hung it outside for 3 days. Now it's perfect. This seemed very well constructed, nice details, edging and more. Seems like quite nice quality, but it's too thin for a year around duvet (in the Pacific NW). It's VERY lightweight, so summer only. I'm not sure why it says 750 fill when I just ordered a heavier one that said 650 fill and it's much thicker/loftier... but whatever. I would have kept it if there was a use for a summer duvet, but we don't need two. If you are a hot sleeper, in a warm climate, have A/C and regulate your nighttime temps, maybe this is a good option. I tried to find a little heavier weight one from the same company, b/c the quality looks really nice, but all I saw was this one. ... show more

This is a very nice well made blanket but for some reason it is heaver ( weight wise) than my winter weight down comforter. It is not too warm and all the squares look to have the same amount of down in each. I'm guessing the cotton fabric is just too heavy for a blanket. It is quiet ( some sound like your sleeping in a paper bag) it is soft. Not sure if it will be sent back as of yet. I'm going out to stores to see if I can find something I like better. ... show more
