The item is cute and a decent size but our pups have graduated from catch and bring back to catch, play tug of war and then bring back. Due to the tug of war play the toy lasted less than 3 days. So, if you have a single pup and it’s not meant for destructive play this will be fine. For reference we have two Border Collies who are 1.5 years old and weigh on average 30 lbs.

My dog has the elephant and it's his favorite toy to play with. He's a 12 pound Maltese and it's so cute watching him run to me with his friend and want to play. He loves it and doesn't get bored. I see other people reviewing it saying it's not durable. My dog does not destroy his toys or try to pull them apart or get the squeaker out but he's had others that just were so flimsy they fell apart. We've had elephant for a bit now and he's in great shape still. It's fun because it's an alternative to retrieving and has multiple features. I don't usually bother writing reviews but since this has brought my guy so much joy wanted to spread the love!

Miley is a Cavapoo and a little power chewer. She loves this toy and plays with it daily. She after a month totally destroyed the reindeer by chewing and tearing it apart. She loves this reindeer so much and Saturday is her one year old birthday, so I bought her another one. I will surprise with it for her birthday.

This toy is very sturdy. The rope arms and legs move for tug-a-war and my fur baby loves her toy. There are several squeakers as well that she has still not been able to chew out.
