This dining room set is everything we had hoped it would be. It's countertop high and is very sturdy. It took us a couple of hours to put it together, but it is well worth it. My wife and I have been looking at counter top high tables for a while now. The only ones we were finding were at the local furniture stores and they were all priced much higher than this one. We looked at one at Costco for around the same price but it had table legs the looked like square posts and chairs to match it. This one has table legs with a detailed design/shape to them, the front chair legs also match the design as the table legs. Assembly was ready, but I highly recommend using a ratchet allen wrench if you can, I did and my hand still hurt from tightening all the bolts, but only because the were so many to do for all 8 chairs and the table.
