I bought this because I thought this could fit in my car. It could, but I’d have to disassemble it. About the assembly: the added pictures give a better idea how to assemble this because the instructions didn’t come with pictures. The screw is squared near the head and the pipe has a slot where it will fit nicely. The twist handle to keep the sections together connects to an additional plastic washer and its firm. The shovel “head” connects to the shaft with a weird pattern that probably won’t come out after attached. It’s not what I wanted, but I can say that if you want a home shovel that can be broken down after use, this will do what you’re looking for. ... show more

My wife grabbed the new shovel, less then 5 minutes later she showes me the broken shovel. It's not even cold weather, the plastic snapped instantly. Cheap plastic, does not fare well in cold conditions. I will be sending back all the shovels I just bought! Products like this should be banned from Amazon- this product is SO CHEAP, it's an insult to even sell such garbage. ... show more
