I liked how it "could" chew through 28 inches of snow, but you have to cut the snow down in layers which gets hard because the thrower is heavy. Work tim is cut in half! I do not like how the scraper edge fills with ice and does not sit flat on surface. The adjustable handle always loosens up too. It is a small device not good for big jobs. ... show more

Is it made of plastic? Yes. Does it feel cheap? What doesnt anymore. Will it clear out 3ft drifts frozen on the driveway? No. Does it function as intended? Absolutely. I gave a little over $50 for it on sale, first use impression I like it, especially for the money, give it a shot. I was leery of going electric because of battling the cord, but if you start on one side of the drive, throw the cord off the side and snake back and forth it's as easy as it gets and the best part there is no pulling and cutting trying to get it started, plug it in and go ... show more

Went together quickly (although there was an extra screw loose inside the belt cover that needed to be removed). Throws snow a fair distance. Used it for my deck and because it throws a fine spray you need to be careful of wind direction. Beats the heck out of shoveling!

I really underestimated this snow thrower. It finally snowed and I finally got to clear my driveway. So, I started to clear across my driveway and this unit threw the snow so far it hit was tossing rapid snowballs at the side of my neighbor's house. Well, crap. I started to go in the other direction, snowballs flew across the air into my other neighbor's front window. Damn. Maybe I can toss it across the street... nope.
