I LOVE this cooler! It works great and the design is very nice. I bought this specifically for traveling with approximately 200oz of breastmilk (packaged individually in 3-4oz bags). Our travel time was a little over 20 hours from the time we left our house until we reached our destination. I originally wanted to bring this as a carry-on, but ended up checking it in. After 20+ hours, the breastmilk arrived frozen solid! After putting the milk in a freezer, we were able to use this daily to pack snacks and waters for our outings. On our return trip we traveled back with approximately 27oz of milk. Due to some delays our total travel time was 30+ hours. The milk arrived mostly frozen- a couple bags were a little bit soft. We were still able to use them. We had way fewer milk bags so they were obviously not packed as tightly and the duration of our trip back was 10 hours longer. I am very happy with this purchase! *The breastmilk was packed VERY tightly and we used ice packs around, in between and on top.

I use this backpack strictly for the beach. Previously, I used an igloo and it was always very heavy to carry with my hands. We also outgrew the igloo with our 4 year old son. 4 Month review I pack this thing full with glass containers of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese and 3 liters of water and two medium size cold packs, it is holding up perfectly. Yes, it is heavy although I have not weighed it loaded. Keeps all of my food cold for 24 hours or more. Since I only use one strap when carrying it, I expected the strap to fail.... It has not! For my purpose it is the perfect solution to good food all day. No I'm not a health nut. I just don't like fast food that is getting more expensive in these times. Note: I lubricate the zipper weekly to reduce friction. This small and quick task is no bother. Simple silicone grease works great. I use the zipper at least 10 times per day. No problems yet I would definitely purchase again.

I bought this back in March and we have used it a few times. Most noteworthy was a trip from OH to NC. I took water, pop, beer and a couple of food items. I used two medium sized cooler shocks placed in the front and the back. The cooler kept everything ice cold for two whole days. On the second day the items were still cool but not cold. This is perfect for a weekend trip and you don't have to worry about it after loading it up. Even though we haven't used it for hiking I love the back pack straps. After you load it up it does get heavy and to swing this over your shoulder makes moving it around so much easier. They send you lube to keep the zipper working properly. After 30 years I invested in some more expensive coolers and let's just say you get what you pay for!

Great cooler bag but it's hard to open and close. I have to use a lot of strength on the zipper pull to open. Lol! Reason I gave 4 stars. Other than it's great. Easy to take to the river, beach and boat.

I have some kiddos with special dietary needs. This worked out great for us. I make the food ahead of time and freeze meals in dehydrated bags. Packed the frozen food, and added 2 frozen blocks and it was still solid on the bottom after 12 hours in 100-degree Texas heat. The top items were softer than the bottom but were still cold. I put them in the freezer at our destination and they lasted all week. I brought other frozen food back home on the return trip. EXCELLENT for our needs.

On our 3rd use the front strap broke. We’ve since used this a hand full of times and yesterday the handle ripped off. Otherwise we love the cooler. Just really disappointed that for the price point this thing is falling apart. I don’t see how to contact the seller. Should’ve just spent a little more money and got a Yeti.

So I was looking at their other cooler bag, and it sold out right when I needed it. Luckily this one had been released probably that week so I took a risk and ordered it (I say a risk because I couldn't find any information a bout the new product release online). It works great! Keeps things super cold, I got some gel ice packs to go along with it that help save space and keep things neat and tidy. I cant speak to the durability or waterproofing per say, but I am not trying to throw it off a mountain, I needed a cooler without the price of a yeti, but the same style and function. I think this EarthPak is pretty close. ALSO, apparently earthpak was doing some kind of promotion and they sent me a free dry bag which is equally awesome and I use even more often than my cooler. Their customer service was great, the product is great. Thanks EarthPak! Would be happy to buy more new releases in the future!
