Features

  • Roasted Okoume Body and Neck: Okoume has a similar warm tone to Mahogany, but with a lighter weight. The roasting process makes the body and neck more stable and resonant. Eart guitar also features a deeper lower horn cut for easier high frets access, and a belly cut for comfortable playing.
  • Custom Alnico II Humbuckers: Alnico II magnets are often associated with prominent mid range attack, soft highs and spongey bass. Combined with the okoume body and neck, EART guitar has a distinctive mid-focused blues solo tone in the neck and 81s hard rock rhythm in the bridge. Bone Nut: Bone is a hard natural material and it has been favored by many luthiers for higher-end instruments due to its sustain and natural lubricating property.
  • Simplified Control Layout: EART was designed with simplicity in mind, aimed at the players that are looking for straight forward guitars. Featuring one volume and one tone control, the guitar eliminated any obstacles that might interfere with your playing. The pickup selector is also re-located so you can change pickup positions with ease.
  • Hand Polished Stainless Steel Frets: Stainless steel frets provide unrivaled durability and smooth playing surface for nice and easy big bends. Each fret ends are also hand-dressed for playing comfortability.
  • U to C Compound Neck Profile and Compound Radius: Eart guitar has an unique U to C compound neck profile with thicker shoulder on the lower frets, slowly tapers down to a slimmer C to higher frets. Along with a 9.5 to 14 compound fingerboard radius, Eart guitar provides excellent playability for both chording and soloing.

  • A GOOD PURCHASE
Color: Honey Tea-US
Was hesitant, but ordered and began holding my breath. I can now relax! The guitar is a keeper. At my age I did not wish to spend a ton of money on another guitar. This was money well-spent. From the top of the head-stock to the bottom guitar strap button, this guitar is perfect. The neck is great, frets superb, the pickups offer balanced tones, and the electronics work fine. The only minor issue I found was the plastic tip on the three-position selector switch has a piece of sharp plastic protruding from its side...you can feel it when changing positions....like I said....minor and fixable with some cautious sanding. Guitar is on a shorter scale than I am used to, but is light-weight and an easy player. The belly cut makes the guitar comfortable. This is my third EART guitar. I returned the ES335 because I truly disliked the white binding...I found that the bright white binding color was an odd selection. An aged binding would have made that guitar look so much better. By the way of a sidenote: The EART telecaster I purchased is actually a better player than my Fender...go figure! Waiting for Amazon to start selling another model that is currently unavailable. Way to go EART! Roger ... show more

  • Amazing quality, great guitar
Color: Honey Tea-US
I’ve owned a lot of nice guitars, some costing thousands of dollars, this guitar is comparable to the best of them. The only weak points are the tuners, and the strings, which work OK but are not world class. I ordered a set of Gotoh locking tuners and will install those and a set of D’Addario strings once they arrive. This thing plays great, and sounds great through my Marshall DSL40c as well as my Fender Pro Reverb. The stock strings are 10s and I normally use 9s, but it was surprisingly easy to play even with the heavier strings, I can’t wait to see how it plays with a set of 9s installed. The over-all quality I would compare to a PRS SE guitar, meaning exceptional. The pickups and sound also remind me of PRS. The neck profile reminds me of a ‘59 Les Paul Epiphone, which is one of my favorites. Love the stainless frets, I’ll be looking for that feature on all my guitars going forward. Highly recommend this product, especially at this price. ... show more

  • Very nice but a few issues
Color: Honey Tea-US
What I like : attractive satin teaburst finish. Its well put together and not too heavy. Frets are finished nice . No fret sprout, rounded at the edges and seem pretty level. Stainless frets at this price is nice. Very low action possible. Nut was perfect and is bone i believe. The pickups sound nice. Tuners are decent, Jin Ho quality. Double truss rod is nice. Nut cover is similar to ibanez . No removal needed to adjust. What I dont like: Set up with no neck relief , rosewood fretboard that is lacquered , the fretboard inlays are too bright and plasticy looking and the glossy fretboard reveals some sloppy inlay work . Dont know why anyone would finish a rosewood or pau ferro board but reverend ,rickenbacker , michael kelley and others do it too. It makes the neck feel more like a glossy maple fretboard. I wish they used a more pearloid inlay material. For some reason this company leans more toward more curvy fretboard radius. This guitar is a compouns 9.5 - 14 radius . I would prefer a 12 -16 radius. They make many of their guitars with a 7.25 -9.5 radius which IMO is just too curved for more modern string bending players. The frets are more medium than jumbo . I would prefer a little taller thicker fret. An issue i have with most electric HH guitars is not being able to adjust pickups to be perfectly level to the strings. Gretsh and guild always did this and it makes a difference in how the pickup can sound . They put two adjustment screws on one side of the pickup. This should be standard of all humbucker pickups imo. ... show more

  • Definitely a keeper
Color: Honey Tea-US
The EART LP guitar was set to low action and had a touch of fret buzz on arrival. This was quickly corrected by a 1/8 turn of relief on the truss rod. Now the action is 1mm / 1.5mm with no fret buzz. I played the EART guitar every day for roughly a year and these are my impressions: Likes: The guitar has a quality look and feel. The absence of binding gives a clean appearance that I enjoy. The humbuckers provide a nice tone. Hum cancelling is good with either pickup, and is outstanding in the middle position. The sustain is excellent too. The small body with the belly cut feels comfortable. Finally, the best feature of this guitar is the high quality fretboard. Cons: Access to the top frets is not as comfortable as a Strat or Jazz Master would have. It doesn't bother me now but took some getting used to. There is no separate tone and volume control for each pickup. You can blend the tone only by lowering or raising the bridge pickup. After playing a lot with action and relief, I located a couple of high frets, which cause a buzz if I set the action below 1mm. I think 1 mm is plenty low already, but being a tinkerer I had to find the limit. Upgrades: This instrument has grown on me more than any other I owned. I added a pair of P90 pickups, a vibrato tail piece, a roller bridge and a set of locking tuners. Along with the pickups I also added copper foil EMI shielding. Now the EART guitar is just the way I like it. ... show more
