  • UPDATED! Great purchase for the price, maybe next time the Pros! [UPDATE] and [UPDATE]
Color: Black
I've been using "around-the-neck" headphones for YEARS, different brands, different features, cheap/expensive, the works. Decided to try something different and so far, not disappointed. Not sure if I'm 100% sold but not disappointed. Ear buds in general are very different from the way neck-phones work and that takes a small amount of change to deal with. These headphones remind me of black versions of a well known brand's headphones. Battery life of the buds is great (as good as my original neck-phones) and since they recharge in the case they can last days on a single charge. Sound quality is good, not great. For me, there's way too little bass and no way to increase it. Volume however is no problem, they can crank the dB's. Passive noise cancelation is decent when the ear pieces are fit snug although talking with one or both in my ears (when audio off) produces a reverberating echo in that ear(s). Touch control is about 80% successful for me, usually not registering one of my taps. Auto-pause/play on removal/insertion is about 50/50 although I'm working on making sure I'm "doing it right" as you have to snug it in and give it a twist although sometimes it works by just taking it out and putting it in. Downside, sometimes it starts playing if I palm the earpiece. As some other users have reported, getting the buds out of the case is "difficult" as there's nothing to really grab except smooth shiny plastic. Perhaps if they added something like those little grabby tabs on the micro hearing aids. I was told that my voice sounds better on these than any previous neck-phones I've used so that's nice! One weird thing that happens sometimes. Since they're separate RF units, every once in a GREAT while they'll loose sync for a split second, even if the phone is in my pocket. More frequent if I'm a distance from my phone. Do they stay in my ears? Yes, yes they do. Matter of fact, just played tennis this morning with one in and never had to give it a second thought. Completely a "ME" thing and not a product issue (more or less) is that they're SMALL, untethered and I have a habit of leaving things and forgetting where they are. No tracking ability (as others might have). So far, really like them. I would recommend them to others (I already have) and if I lost them tomorrow I'd probably get the Pro's as a replacement. (more mic's, easier to remove from case!) I'd LOVE if I could pump up the bass and if they had something to help track them down but again, for the price, these are a fantastic buy! [UPDATE] OK, it's been a while and I've had some more time to work with these. Had to drop a star. Battery lasting less than I thought (actually started recording times and use) and I've been experiencing the un-syncing/drop-out of audio between the two earpieces more and more. [UPDATE} Well, it's time to hunt for something else. The sync dropping between the two headpieces is getting REALLY annoying. Now happens multiple times a day. Talking with these in my ears creates that hum feedback, even with just one - very annoying. Touch controls - don't, at least not a majority of the time. And why does my volume always drop to ZERO when I switch over to these? Tired of the problems and tired of trying to "work it out". There's a product that works great but is "quirky" and then there's this, a product that is annoying and doesn't work well enough to justify its idiosyncrasies. UPDATE Customer support took care of all my problems! Wish more companies had the same care for their clients. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
Color: Black
I was looking for a budget pair of wireless earbuds to wear at work, and after doing some research I decided on an Earfun pair. I was originally looking at the Pro series, but the Airs were on a great sale, so I pulled the trigger. All I wanted was a comfortable pair of buds to listen to podcasts and audiobooks at work, and these definitely fit the bill. They fit very comfortably, pass the head shake test, and the battery lasts my entire shift. What I wasn't expecting was that these actually sound pretty good for music as well. Not as good as my wired Koss headphones at home, but more than adequate for trips outside. The touch controls are also great and work about 95% of the time. I also appreciate that the case battery not only lasts a few days, but can charge wirelessly, making these extremely convenient to "grab and go." They're also great for watching TV late at night; they paired to my Nvidia Shield no problem. For the price I paid for these, I'm extremely happy. Definitely gonna consider upgrading to the Pro buds at some point. ... show more

  • Initial review - Good for the price, fits well, good sound quality for music, not great for calls.
Color: Black
7/25/2020 I've owned a Tozo T6 for 8 months or so now and wanted something a bit different as I always hated the round bulging out of ear design. The sound from Tozo T6 is decent, it actually fits well, charge lasts long enough and charges wireless and connection is also great. I just hated it aesthetically. These were my must have criteria for selection 1) In-ear AirPods type design with stem, if you know what I mean (not the round ones, they all are too big and stick out too much for me, consider me a design purist and this ruled out a lot of good budget earphones) 2) Wireless Charging Case (surprisingly this isn't a feature available among a lot of budget earphones) 3) Sound Quality (at least initially trusting reviews here) 4) Reasonably priced in $50-100 range 5) Mics with some sort of noise cancellation for call clarity 6) No fake positive reviews (will get to this later) TL;DR - this EarFun Air True fits the bill, checks all the boxes and is fifty bucks. Worth it. Will update after a few months of use. So I did a lot of research, AirPods were out of question because I use Samsung Galaxy series phone. Also was the Galaxy Buds+ and Bose because they both have the round design and I wanted more sort of the slim design of ear buds with the stem. After spending a lot of time EarFun Air was only one of the handful of earphones I could find that satisfied all my criteria. I'm not posting photos because a lot of people have already posted it. First thing I was relieved when I saw there was no free coupon offered in lieu of a positive glowing review. A lot of these earphone manufacturers offer $10 or $15 or free stuff to get customers to write positive reviews. So be careful of those. It paired easily to my phone and I was up and running in 2 minutes. Click 2 on right or left for pause and play Click 3 on right for forward Click 3 on left for Google Assistant Long click on right for vol+ and long click on left for vol- I wish the clicks were 1 less (for each respectively) Sound quality is pretty good for wireless earphones. For reference, I own Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, Sony, Yamaha, Klipsch etc. equipment, speakers and headphones, both wired and wireless. These have a somewhat colorful and dynamic sound stage and have decent bass and treble, if that's your thing. I downloaded Samsung Sound Assistant app which lets you tweak your sound output and that helps a lot as well. The in-ear detection works great and I love this feature. The music stops playing when you take earphones out of the ear and place it somewhere and resumes when you put it back in your ear. It stays put for the most part and is comfortable, while normal activities, walking, biking etc., although I don't use it while running. So can't vouch for exercise / gym compatibility. It is sweat proof with IPX7 water proof rating. I wish it also had the ambient sound feature, because its isolates the noise so much and you can't really hear anything what's going on outside. So its good and bad depending on where you are. Wireless charging works, but one minor quibble I have is that the charging base is at the bottom of the case, unlike others which is usually on the back of the case. So if you have one of those slanting charges this won't work, but works fine on all flat lying chargers. I haven't had an issue with charge so far and it lasts forever (or at least I haven't used it for 7 hours continuously to test it, maybe I've used it for 3 hours max). Regarding calling - the voice clarity is excellent for me, however, couple of callers did mention that they could hear the noise outside when I'm not in a very quiet environment. They requested me to transfer the call to the phone and they said it was much better. However when you're indoors this isn't a problem and no one has complained so far. One last thing I wanted to mention was that this product has won 2020 CES Innovation Honoree Award and it had a website, so it gives me some additional comfort knowing that the manufactures care for this and is not some mass manufactured off-brand. Overall 4 stars considering price, quality and features. ---7/29/2020--- First update Reducing it to 3 stars. I just used it for a Webex meeting today connecting to my laptop and immediately people complained saying they can't hear me. So I went back to my default set up of external microphone and speakers. So looks like the earlier complaints I got from some of the calls were legit. I still like it for music because of its sound quality but do not expect to use it for calls/meetings based on my experience. I don't know if its just my unit or is it the same with others as well. ---8/10/2020--- Second update Customer support is 5-stars. I reached out for a return and they sent me a new one which so far seems to be better than the defective one I had earlier. Raising it back to 4 stars. One thing I have to mention is that the old one used to also get randomly disconnected (from the Bluetooth connection to the phone) and the new one has less of this, but it also has that issue once in a while. Hitting twice on the touch pad usually resolves this and resumes the connection. Photos from left to right - Lasuney T11, Tozo T6, Earfun Air ... show more
