It's a very thin mat, but it works for my kids and doesn't slip on the floor even when wet, which is really nice. The color is vibrant, but we've only been using it for a little over a month now and haven't washed it yet, so that may change. Absorbency is decent. This thing is so tiny. It's more like a placemat or a hankerchief! It's very thin and the bottom is not a typical rubber bottom so it will slide all over the floor. It's also not a true red like the picture depicts. It gives off orange tones. I have nothing good to say about this rug, mat, thing.
