Every year I stock up on this style of fire-starters. Whether for my fireplace indoors or our fire-pit outside, these guys are wonderful getting things going. Having used several brands I must say that this product is the very best one yet. All of the others are thrown into a large box that you then have to sort through and keep in a convenient container. This brand arrives in individual pouches so storage & accessibility are a breeze. The log is engulfed in flames almost immediately regardless of how old the logs are and the results are just beautiful. Can’t say there’s any “smell” as this is not how they’re intended. The price is fair cause I normally use 3 when lighting a large log although in my photo I used 5. And you simply cannot beat Amazon’s outstanding delivery.

Little bit of kindling and two of these starters and you have a fire in no time. A lot better than using your flame logs as they build up fast, even though supposedly they are clean.
