Original review (and update to orig review) is at the bottom. However, after leaving the original review, several days later one of the bulbs exploded and caught fire, so I am updating my review to warn people of this as well as provide photos of the exploded/burned bulb. ----- I heard a sharp "pop" and a 'breaking glass' sound come from our bathroom. As I got nearer to the bathroom, I smelled the unmistakable smell of burning electronics and noticed a thin haze of smoke. Highly concerned, I lookup to find that one of the bulbs above our vanity was out and upon closer investigation, noticed the bulb had separated from the base, and the inside off the fixture's glass 'shade' had some soot on it. After removing the fixture's glass 'shade', I turned of power and needed to use pliers to remove the base from the socket. The electronics in the base of the bulb had literally exploded and burned. I am extremely concerned about the safety of these bulbs and have removed them from our fixtures, as I am now afraid these bulbs may be a fire risk. I have purchased new name-brand bulbs from a traditional retailer as I cannot take the chance of burning down my house. I have attached pictures for reference. Pictures show the bulb in the fixture after it exploded and before I touched it as well as closeups of the exploded bulb/base itself. You can see the soot on the inside of the glass "shade"/diffuser from the bulb having caught fire. ----- Update to original review (below): after leaving this review, the seller contacted me and offered to refund my recent purchase of replacement bulbs as numerous bulbs had stopped working after a short time. Original review title: Decent color temp and cri but poor lifespan After trying some other options for bulbs for our bathroom vanity lights, we liked these the best for their color temperature, dimming quality, and light quality/CRI, but they do NOT last very long. I've replaced four of the eight bulbs in less than a year from first use (lights on for a few hours a day, not 24/7 by any means). Unimpressed. ... show more

[UPDATE: The seller contacted me after I left this review and offered a full refund, which I took and just arrived. Updating my star rating from 2 to 4 for great customer service -- but look elsewhere for longer-lived candelabra LED bulbs] I purchased these lights in early August 2022. Now, in March 2023 — about 200 days later — two bulbs have failed. One flickers wildly no matter which socket I insert it into. Another fails to illuminate. Generously assuming I had these lights on for 12 hours a day (likely more like 4-8 hours), that's roughly 2,400 hours of operation, or 12% of the stated 20,000-hour life span. But again, I'm overestimating hours of use here. Looking forward to hearing from the seller/manufacturer regarding a replacement (sometimes there's a bad batch). Installed 3 of them and after around 7 months, one started to flake out. Description states 2 year warranty but where on the page do you contact the vendor? Section that states " Product Warranty: For warranty information about this product, please click here" When I "click here", i get a page that states "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product. You may also be able to find warranty information on the manufacturer’s website." Around and around we go.... ... show more
