After seeing a good deal of hype over this particular shade, I decided to give it a try. I do like that it’s a great alternative to my usual dark brown liner. Black is way too intense for my coloring, so the plum works very well for me. It’s a kohl pencil with good staying power. Of course in hot summer temps it will likely require a fresh application. I like that the texture is creamy and smooth, and doesn’t drag or pull on my skin. I think this is a great pencil for the price, and I’m glad to have another color option besides brown. I have not tried to sharpen it yet, but it appears that it would be no problem to sharpen it. The line goes on smoothly and can be adjusted to your preference, depending on how much you sharpen it, and the angle that is used. I like a thicker coverage, and this worked beautifully. I got four of the Black Velvet colored pencils, and they're exactly as they're mentioned. This eyeliner is very pigmented and bold; it also lasts all day. You can smudge it out easily too for a cool, smoky/ghostly look, and the pencil sharpens smoothly without the liner itself falling out as you do so. Great for the price. Not messy at all in my opinion. It’s lighter on the skin than it looks but still obviously blue. It goes on smooth, stays on all day, just pretty light. Very pleased with the consistency and quality of this eyeliner for 2 bucks! I couldn’t ask for a better deal. Love this eyeliner. I purchased a L.A. eyeliner that was empty on the inside. This pencil is highly pigmented doesn't bleed and easy to sharpen. I really like this pencil. It's creamy goes on easy, and has a nice color (albeit darker than the green pictured), however, it smears easily on the lash line and doesn't last long on the waterline. You will need to retouch it throughout the day.

Creamy eyeliner in perfect shade. Only drawback is that it doesn't last all day. Easy to apply and can get a nice fine line with this pencil. Great price too! Just be aware yoy may have to reapply.
