I love this eyeshadow. It's my everyday go to. Pictured is the gold and purple together so you can get an idea of how both look. It can be dressed up or down. If I am dressing down only wear one color and don't paint my entire lid. I'm 44 and my eyelids are more hooded with a bit of excess skin and this stays on provided you have a good primer. I wear the Urban Decay primer, let it dry, and apply this. It stays on all day. It's very pigmented and doesn't transfer to upper lid. I have a lot of eyeshadows and high end ones at that. This is the one I always reach for because it's just so easy. My favorite one is the pinkish tinted one (not pictured) and the pink is what I wear daily. Warning though: this will absolutely accentuate every imperfection in your lids if you look at it up close as that's what liquid and metallic combined will do. It can also create a rough looking texture when dried. But no one is gonna be looking at me that close so I'm okay with that. ... show more

I used to use a different name-brand liquid metallic eyeshadow for many years that cost a lot more, and when that product got discontinued, I went on the search to find a replacement and found these e.l.f. liquid metallic eyeshadows. They're perfect. I was hoping to find something "as good as" the old product, but these are even better because they go on with full thick coverage and they stay all day. I apply them as an eyeliner and then use a cold blow dryer to dry them quickly while my eye is still closed (this way the fresh wet liner won't transfer to your upper lids if you have partially hooded eyes like I do). Once the liner is dry it's on there, even when I go out and hike in the heat. This stuff is AMAZING. I have tried all of the colors except for the green one. The bright one in my inner corner is Moon, the darker gold on the outer corner is Meteor. I mostly buy Moon and Little Dipper. (Side note: I found that Supernova was a much darker purple in real life than the picture on the sale page.) These metallics are gorgeous, and they shimmer instead of looking chunky glittery. They don't flake glimmer all over like some other brands do (which is terrible on aging skin because it highlights lines and crepey-ness) so they maintain a clean line. When you glide it on your lid, it goes on creamy and smooth. If you use a fan or cold blow-dryer right away, it'll dry and lock in. It's great. The applicator is the perfect size to use this as an eyeliner. The containers are nice and small and easily portable for a makeup bag, gym bag, makeup organizer. These are WAY cheaper than the old brand that I used before, they last a long time and they're an even better quality than the expensive ones. I love everything about these and have had them on my Subscribe and Save for the last couple of years. I truly hope they never stop making these. ... show more

I absolutely love this liquid eyeshadow! The Comet shade is so pretty and has a beautiful metallic finish that really makes your eyes stand out. It goes on smoothly, has great pigmentation, and you only need a small amount to get a noticeable look. It dries quickly and stays put without constantly creasing or smudging. Lovely Green Color

First of all, yes, it burned when I initially put it on... but only briefly. I liked the green color after a few passes... bright and beautiful. You do have to let it dry for a bit, or you'll smear it. It's easy to fix with a quick wipe of a damp q-tip. For the price, you can't beat it. my favorite eyeshadow that I wear everyday

Of the colors available, this is my favorite. It goes on really nicely and it lasts all day long. I have oily lids and needed a shadow that stays. I love the color on me. I'm olive skintone/asian.
