First, let me say, I just turned 63, have tried many types of cosmetics from the very expensive to drugstore. I love cosmetics but they must be good and perform. E.L.F.'s Hydrating Camo Concealer, in my humble opinion, is quite good. I'd definitely compare to Tarte's Shape Tape (another favorite). And this concealer is more like Tarte's moisturizing concealer. Big plus. I'm fortunate to have very good skin with a bit of light lines. However, I am prone to a bit of darkness and some days are better or worse as I'm not a great sleeper, hence me using this product. I originally used Tarte, and loved it. I heard about this one and thought to give it a try. Glad I did as it has terrific coverage and provide some moisture (without the residue) and lasts for well over ten hours. And that's in the Southern heat. I will say however, the shade I purchased is VERY light, (Fair Beige) even for me. The color is more like a LIGHT IVORY, in my opinion...a big difference! But I made it work as I'm fair and I'm quite experienced with makeup (being in the cosmetics industry for decades and my age ; ). Others have reviewed and mentioned how the shades are on the "lighter side" or "off." This is quite true. So, you may have to think about what shade you might require, OR, if you're able to view these in person, better yet. On the flip side, It also works great as a "spot treatment" as I don't always care for full-face foundation at times. In addition, it can be used as an eye primer, if you add a touch and let it dry about 30 seconds then apply your shadow, I've done this several times now, and I tell you, for many of my baked, glitter or other stubborn eyeshadow, this definitely makes it brighter and keeps the shadow in place. I started with the matte version of this, and found it to cake up before diffusing it into the skin. This formula is a lot better in blend abilities, but it is a tad too sheer. I typically pair this with a dot of the matte formula and it really is beautiful

This concealer is really good, it gives what it says. Is SUPER hydrating, I’ve never feel my under eyes like that, it has a good coverage, and the price is nice. About the shade, I saw a few reviews on YouTube and I couldn’t decide what shade to get. The shade that I got was what I was looking for, if you’re going to get this, try to see some reviews and see what shade to get! <3 ... show more

This is buildable and covers EVERYTHING from zits to age spots and other blemishes. If you have a particular troubling one, you can pit a lighter 1 down first then build your normal over. This is a daily staple. Highly recommend!
