I’ve heard great news about the elf products and I’m so glad I purchased this foundation. If it weren't for the fragrance (it reminds me of my grandpa) this would be a 5 star review. It sits perfectly on my 41 year old skin. I used the color match tool from their website and it matched me perfectly. Lasts all day and doesn't oxidize or turn into a patchy mess, even in horrible central Texas heat. It doesn’t make me break out, which was a surprise because usually when I use foundation I break out really bad. If you have semi sensitive skin I recommend this product. The coverage is amazing you can’t see my scar(I have a scar running across my cheek) and when I use this foundation, you can’t see it and that’s some thing I really appreciate when it comes to a good foundation ... show more

This product is really lovely. It’s a light to medium coverage with a slightly matte, slightly dewy finish. It has a great texture that blends well with concealer and contour. I purchased this on a whim when it came up when I was searching for another e.l.f. product. I don’t wear much makeup so take that into consideration. This was super affordable, like $2 for the shade I got—Snow. This is not my shade but I primarily wanted this to use under my eyes and mixed with moisturizer (snail cream). I rely more on a quick bronzing for color. Again, really don’t wear foundation, even bb cream gets mixed in with moisturizer for me. This foundation was a great option! It’s nice and brightening (again, in the shade I got) and works great with my bronzer & contour powders atop. Perfect to add some light and life to my face. Because of the sunscreen, careful around the eyes. Makes mine irritated/watery. To test I put it under my eyes treating it as a lighter concealer. It started out far oiler than I expected and a little goes a long way. But it does dry down after a few. And great all over the face mixed with moisturizer, I imagine it would work well without moisturizer, too! ... show more

I have only used Nyx, so please excuse My semi-Bias here, I am semi pale and had gotten the pale with yellow undertones when it should've been pink, and a little lighter. I love this and will be mixing it with the foundation I have from NYX

Great for oily skin. Stays in place. Needs a couple of applications for evenly, full coverage. I can’t stand the scent if I’m being perfectly honest. Definitely feels cakey like all day and never fully dries. I also have to mix multiple shades to make a semi matchable color. However, it’s very affordable. Does the job.
