Finding a blend-able matte shadow for mature eyes is tough. This shadow has amazing, highly pigmented shades for an everyday look or a Smokey eye. Perfect pallet for blue eyes! The pallet only contains matte, if you want to add shimmer to the lid( like I did) you won’t find it in this pallet.

As we age, wrinkles appear. If a senior woman wears sparkly eye shadow, it tends to accent wrinkles. It is best to continue to use a matte finish product.

This palette has been great for me for daytime everyday wear. Depending on the look I'm going for, I use anywhere between 2 to 4 colors and they are all very easy to blend. I have several other palettes from Urban Decay, Too Faced and Marc Jacobs and while the colors in this palette don't quite stand out and aren't as vibrant, they're still really nice for daytime makeup and it's something I reach for often. With the help of Urban Decay eyeshadow primer, the color stays put all day and doesn't crease....which is great because I have extremely oily eyelids. That's more the primer than the colors but nonetheless, I usually have makeup on for 12 or so hours and I don't have to reapply or touch up my eyeshadow. ... show more

How great is it to have makeup you order online look like you wanted it to?? This does, and I am pretty darn happy about it. I have makeup I have bought in the store that doesn't look right or act right when I got it home. So on the recommendation of a Youtuber, I ordered this, and it is just the way I see it, and it goes on that way and looks great. I have the most sensitive eyes, and it does not bother them at all.     • Eyeshadows are okay, but most of them were smashed.

Amazon sent me this palette by itself in a shoebox sized box without padding or packaging to keep it still, the result was 4 of the eyeshadows being crumbled messes. I was able to repress them with the aid of some rubbing alcohol, but the texture was ruined in those particular ones. The ones I was able to use were, in fact, quite nice. I plan on reordering it straight from the manufacturer's site next time it's on sale in the hope of getting a whole palette. ... show more
