  • Weak, unbalanced structure, needs tons of time for improvements
Style: Plug-N-Play
I bought this plane 7 months ago. Since that time I was forced to invest over $200 and around 50 hours of my time to repair, fix issues and improve the plane. God bless, I used to build my own planes, so I was able to resolve issues. But I'm pretty sure it's not the end of my "adventures" with this plane. First of all, there is no chance to fly it without the gyro! If you are Spectrum fan, you have a chance to use the advantages of AS3X. But if you (like me) are a Futaba fan, you will need to buy an additional gyro module, because the planner aerodynamics is not so good to fly without any hardware auto-correction. Second, the planner structure has several serious issues. The main one: wings are not properly located in the horizontal plane to the fuselage. The right wing is lower than the left one (check the photo with rod attached to the fuselage). Initially, I thought it's just my plane issue, but after the first couple of crashes, when the fuselage got broken so hard that it would be easier just to replace it with a new one, I found the same issue in the brand new fuselage and new wings - absolutely the same issue! Solution: to use a couple of nylon washers on the right side to lift the wing angle. But the crevice appears under the wing, plus, it's adding a structural weakness at the wing mounting. Next issue: the fuselage is too soft. It's literally chattering during the flight, like a fish tale, also leading to the wings vibration, especially at the higher speed. Some friend of mine even said that his old Conscendo S fuselage was even softer, and he stopped using it because of this. So it looks like this is the common issue of the whole series of these planes. Solution: to add carbon rode inside (which is not fixing the issue) or to harden it externally with carbon fiber (what is adding the weight). Fourth, there is a very tiny space inside the fuselage. As a Futaba fan, I was forced to buy an additional gyro module breaking my mind to find the space where I could install it there. Fifth, as others said in their comments, there are no hinges in ailerons, elevators, or the rudder. They simply placed a sticky tape over the foam. As a result, it will be broken and torn after a couple of months of active use. Sixth, the servos they use are cheap junk with plastic gears. Even the motor shaft's gear is plastic-made. Even the cheapest 9g servos from my reserve have copper gear. As a result, all original servos got out in a couple of weeks. So why did I put 3 stars instead of one? Just because it looks good and can fly fast enough ... after tons of improvements. But for the price I paid in total, I could get a much much better plane. ... show more

  • Fabulous flyer
Style: Plug-N-Play
The Conscendo is a great flying plane, my only issue is I broke the propeller and when I attempted to order a new prop I find the only way to order is to buy the whole nose assembly for $16.00 plus shipping. I just need one of the props not the whole assembly.

  • With ASX Tech anyone can fly this.
Style: Plug-N-Play
Not really for a beginner but with a little practice you will do well, wish in would have bought the Bind and Fly instead of the plug n play.

  • Awesome on 4 cell 1800-2200 battery
Style: Plug-N-Play
This was super easy to set up the receiver area is tight with a spektrum ar631 rx. Flys great on 3s 2200 pack. 4s 2200 tight but will fly vertical to a dot in under 30 seconds then glide around for up to 10 minutes a couple high speed passes with rolls and back vertical to a dot flight times 40 minutes with 45% battery life. Going to try a 1800 mah battery so it won’t forward center gravity and improve glide times. Has a great high speed sound when it flies by too. can do power off touch n goes on short grass. Enjoy the consendo ... show more

  • Poorly designed.
Style: Plug-N-Play
Poorly constructed, glued or cemented joints are separating, wing mount support broke. Fuselage cracked after 2 flights.

  • Excellence
Style: Plug-N-Play
Pay no attention to the guy who says “poor design”. It’s very clear that he had a less than perfect landing or some other mishap just by close examination of his 3 pics. This plane isn’t meant to land on its tail and other beginner types of crashes , it’s about a 2 or 3 out of 5 skill level and is an awesome plane . E-flight has been around for a long time and they know what they’re doing, thx e-flight ... show more

  • A really good high velocity sail plane.
Style: Plug-N-Play
Much more durable than its predecessor, but heavier. Very fast for a sail plane, but can thermal under the right conditions. Best balanced with a three cell battery, but will scream with a four cell. Not suited for a beginner, especially without some help. The weak point is the landing skid, which is suitable only for soft surfaces like low grass. The wing servos are vulnerable to rocks and other protruding objects. My favorite to fly. ... show more
