  • Great flying ‘Hog!!
The media could not be loaded. Great flying edf jet! Not a good first plane but probably a good first jet. Very predictable flight characteristics with no bad tendencies. I set it up per manual specs other than reducing some of the down elevator mix on landing flaps (my preference) the book setup is perfect. Flies good with ordinance attached as well. Very effective rudder controls snap it around quickly. Not a slow flyer either, had it over 100mph according to the Spektrum GPS telemetry module. I highly recommend this ‘Hog to anyone with some RC airplane experience who wants a great flying jet! ... show more

  • Awesome!!!
The E-flite A-10 is Kickass! Handled great off our grass runway, taking off and landing. This is a fast model that can do some insane maneuvers. Snap rolls are easy and the model slows down nicely. Just a touch of power as you land.

  • Front Landing Gear isn't robust enough
I do believe that a more robust nose landing gear is needed to support the weight and landing speed required by this plane for other than asphalt runway landing. My experience landing in grass was not one I can be happy with. The pin that holds the wheel to the retract assembly snapped right after the plane touched down and bleeding off momentum causing multiple damages to the nose, ordnance, and wings. I would suggest using smaller packs (i.e. 3200) if landing or surfaces other that asphalt, or consider other similar models. Plane looks very nice and flies very well over all. I just hope that e-flite will some more effort to improve this model, being sub $500. ... show more

  • Front landing gear is horrendous
You need a separate programmer for thrust reverse. It is not as easy as programming in remote. The plane is absolutely only for paved runways and you will break the front landing gear on anything other than smooth pavement. Not worth the money, not worth the time, not worth the customer support.

  • Great plane but needs to be adjusted well
The media could not be loaded. Plane's foam material is really sturdy. Very easy to assemble. Joy to fly. Very powerful. Here are some important things: This plane flies much better without ordinants. You may see some youtubers say this plane doing great with ordinants but it is a lie. With ordinants plane needs to fly with almost 70-100 % throttle. It is always pointing nose down. Also, during landing, it has much more stall tendancy and having difficulties to flare. I strongly recommend flying without ordinants. Plane's battery tray is useless because it is placed way too front. To adjust cg correctly, you need to push battery to the very back that you will not be able to use battery straps. You need to find another way to fix the battery. Planes cg is very good around 65-70mm from leading edge of the wing. Front wheel steering changes all the time. It is hard to adjust to let the plane go straight on the ground. Don't forget to check control surfaces level before flight because pre assembly of them were not even when I got the plane. Front gun can come off very easly, so I recommend fixing it with a strong glue. These are relatively small issues but needs to be told before flying. When everyrhing is all set, it is fun to fly this thing. It is fast, controllable and hoy to watch. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY!
LISTEN! I have had (3) of these. I have (9) jets total. Far from new at this hobby. First one went down in a total brown out failure first flight. Second one was lost in a lipo fire. Third one I had (4) servos go out before I could log (4) flights. Things to expect: 1. Plane comes out of the box with a significant amount of up elevator. It will be at 500ft in an instant. Novice pilots will lose it, so trim down to 10-degrees before you fly it 2. Nose gear is TRASH! I have maybe one hour of flight time and at least 40hrs working on nose gear. Strut pins snap like toothpicks and the seller knows it. This results in first flight nose damage. Reviews on their website that point this out are scrubbed so only five-star reviews are presented. 3. No matter how good the landing is, greaser landings on my other planes, this plane comes down hard. My advice, use no flaps, and bring it in hot and as flat as possible if you have the runway room. 4. It careens down the runway, squirrely and hard to control. You need at least a 4-lane wide runway to get it in the air. Unless you just want a ceiling hanger, don't buy it. Buy a Vulcan, Viper, Banshee, or Habu. Viper is good too but HH has zero spare parts so buy Freewing. You will regret this plane. I finally got so mad I literally, seriously, stomped on mine and ripped it to pieces right on the runway after dumping at least $200 in nose gear upgrades and hours of repair work. This plane became work, not play. I will fly my planes that don't require four hours of repair after each flight. I bought two more planes just today, suffice to say neither are from HH. I'm going to convert to Freewing now. ... show more
