I snagged this in Prime Days so I was thrilled. My grandson is outgrowing his crib so now when he visits he will have a big boy bed of his own. It came securely packed with no damage. I put it together myself in an hour or so. It came with an allen wrench but I had a T allen wrench from a previous project that helped a lot. Putting the two ends together was the hardest part for me and the dowels they give you just weren’t cutting it for me. So I used the regular bolts instead until I got the plate on then I removed them to add the legs. It was relatively easy and the directions were pretty clear. It is a sturdy little bed that should last until all the grandkids are no longer toddlers. The finish is a nice metalalic warm gray which I really liked even better in person. I did try the old crib mattress and it fit perfectly. I’m very happy with it and so will he when he sees it. ... show more

I’m typically very good with building furniture but this bed gave me the struggle of a life time. For starters, the way the screws and tools were packaged was great, everything was organized and secured safely. The pieces were easily recognizable on where they needed to go. Building was the hard part of it all manly because the slats. Unsure if it was just a me problem but every single position I had the bed in even according to the directions, the slats would fall out as the next one was being put in, it was like a domino affect. It was extremely frustrating and I ended up needing 3 people to hold the slats as I continued to slide the rest in so they wouldn’t come falling down and back to square one again. After I got all the slats in things were simple. The rest was completed in minutes. For the price of this bed, it’s unbeatable. It’s the perfect size, has a great amount of coverage for a toddler just transitioning, and most crib mattresses fit perfectly on it. It’s sturdy and fits nicely up against a wall. ... show more

This was our first toddler bed purchase and we couldn't be happier with it! The design is absolutely incredible. Assembly was a smooth process, every part was clearly labeled, the instruction booklet included pictures that were easy to follow, and nothing was missing from the box. The bed is sturdy and the material is decent quality. Our toddler is tall for his age but fits in it perfectly. The low height was actually a bonus for us since he tends to move around a lot in his sleep, and the design does a great job of preventing him from rolling out. Beautiful blush/baby pink color~ It was a little tedious putting it together but the size is perfect an it accommodates my toddlers crib mattress. It is very sturdy and the finish is very smooth, so no worries of cracked wood or splinters. My baby girl loves it!

I was a little nervous with ordering only bc so many reviews said they needed a second person to help and my husband works all day. I was able to put the bed together by myself in less than an hour! Turning the bed on its side while placing the boards made it much easier to do being one person. I also saw a review that the holes were not pre drilled. Most of them are! There’s just 8 tiny screws you have to put in that’s not. There’s also NO extra hardware so be mindful with where you’re setting things lol. It comes with an allen wrench but not a screwdriver, which is needed. Over all the bed feels very sturdy it isn’t too heavy making it easy to move around the room if wanting to rearrange. A standard size crib mattress fits perfectly! ( thought I’d say that bc I didn’t find if in the description). Pictures show one of the small screws that do not have the pre drilled hole as well as how I put the bed on its side making it easier for one person to do. ... show more
