*UPDATE: MINE STOPPED WORKING ON THE 4TH USE!!* Seriously, Dyson??? They have turned into such trash. My Dyson vacuums never last anymore, neither did my airwrap (why I used a shark instead) and now this POS too. Thank god this died while I was in the return window. I’ve been waiting for this to be released to consumers for a while now! My hairdresser has had it for a long time and I was always so curious about it. After 1 hair dry I’m immediately in love. I have purchased the original Dyson hair dryer, Dyson air wrap, shark flex style, and I feel like this is my favorite one! I always dread having to dry my hair so knowing this works quickly, I’m able to convince myself to actually do it. It’s super light weight, smaller/more compact and way quieter than my shark flex style I’ve been using as a hair dryer. My daughter has A LOT of super thick hair and it took US as a team 45 minutes to dry before. We'd take turns and both have sore arms before it was dry. With this dryer she can do it in 10 minutes alone and be left with nice shiny smooth hair. Mine is much thinner but the medium setting works great for me. The difference between high and medium is huge. High is too much for thin hair. There should be a setting in between but it is a great dryer for super think hair and fine hair. ... show more

I initially decided to return this item due to its high price point and concerns raised in other customer reviews. While I cannot speak to the performance of the product itself, I am writing this to highlight a concerning experience during the return process. The staff member handling my return was extremely careless with the merchandise. After realizing the return bin was full, he tossed the hair dryer into a corner and subsequently kicked it while moving a new box into place. Given that this is a $700 piece of equipment, I was shocked by the lack of care. This raises serious concerns regarding liability—if an item is damaged during the intake process, it becomes difficult for the customer to prove they returned it in working condition. Lightweight and dries ever so quickly! I now have three different Dyson hair dryers and this is definitely my favorite! It’s a $100 less on the Dyson website but shipping isn’t as quick as on Amazon! This is highly recommended buy!!!!
