We bought our first version of this (the HP01) with my first daughter because we live in a 1950s house with the original single pane glass windows - custom sized so we have not been able to replace them yet due to cost. These fans make it possible to keep the nursery so much warmer on winter nights. We bought this fan for our second daughter’s room knowing we could trust it and chose to get this slightly upgraded version so we could control it from our phones since it connects to wifi. It also comes with a remote which is nice. We opted for this over other heaters/fans because it also serves as an air purifier so it combines multiple devices into one sleek device. Nice design. Not too big. My favorite part is that it connects to the Dyson app and you can monitor air quality. It automatically purifies so no need to do anything.

This is a good fan and circulates the air. Well the heater is decent although it isn’t as warm as other space heaters I’ve used which kind of surprised me. The air purifier is a nice bonus and seems to work well. The one thing that is a bummer is that for some reason this product cannot be controlled remotely when you want to use the heating function. Other features can be controlled remotely via the app, but not the Heater. I guess there’s some law that prevents Dyson from doing that… but this isn’t really made clear in the product listing and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Pretty undecided, whether or not this was worth it for the money. It works well, but costs a fortune. ... show more

Got this as an Amazon refurbished. I paid $400 after tax and it is so worth it. It's essentially a heater, fan, and purifier all in one. Bought this in 11/23 and it did not come with a remote. Reached out to Amazon and Dyson and here I am in 5/24 still with no remote. My unit is useless since without a remote there is no way to change the settings from blowing 80 plus degree heat around the house which is useless in summer.

    • Unbelieably Effective for Heating

My office space is next to a poorly insulated exterior wall, and it has been extremely cold during winters for the last 12 years. I've tried multiple area heaters over the years, but they only raised the temperature a couple of degrees within just a few inches of the heating element. This heater is truly amazing. I don't know how it works, but it can raise the temperature of my entire office by 10 or more degrees very quickly. It features a thermostat, so it turns itself off when it reaches its target temperature, and then on again when it dips below the target. It's a bit noisy at full speed, but probably no more so than any other similarly sized area heater, and perhaps even less so. But this is nothing compared to the relief it brings. I can't speak to the other benefits this device claims, such as air purification, but as a heater it's been a game changer for me. ... show more
