This is Dyson replacement part 922625-03 is for DC40, DC42 and DC50. I installed it on my Dyson DC50 and works perfectly. You need a Torx 15 screwdriver (for 4 screws) and Torx 8 screwdriver (for 3 screws) ideally magnetic tips (or some small needle nose pliers) to pull them out and put them be best because the screws (especially the smaller Torx 8 screw) are a bit hard to get to. ... show more

Very happy with this purchase. Very cheap fix to suction problem, giving new life to older vacuum. The installation took some time and a number of screws, but not too challenging. Fits as good as the original part. Definitely worthwhile.

This is a great product, and a very cost-effective solution for a vacuum. Just be aware it’s a bit of work to get this thing changed out, you have to have a DIY mindset.
