    • Fits 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee....but.
This kit works for a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's not very difficult to install yourself and it's a decent upgrade from the stock exhaust. You will have to swap out the stock bracket that holds up the tailpipe. There is a replacement bracket included in this kit. I however did not receive one and that's why I only gave 3 stars. There was a big hole in the side of the box when the package showed up and the tailpipe was sticking through. No damage was done to the tailpipe, however my bracket was missing and I had to buy a new one at an auto parts store. The part doesn't cost much, but I was still disappointed because it turned an hour long project into a 2 day one. ... show more

Packaging was terrible. The tip was protruding from the too small box and was damaged. Also I had to fight to get the tail pipe in to the muffler. Sounds good not as loud as I was hoping but sounds great under load.

Easy to install, sounds great, no complaints. Haven't noticed an effect on fuel mileage..... But wasn't after that. Would buy again. As with most aftermarket installs, removal of oem tail pipe was the tricky part. Air chisel worked really well.

Great price. Only problem with fitment was the tailpipe hanger contacting the factory trailer hitch. Just heated the hanger end & bent it down. Exhaust looks & sounds great!
