bought this for a child’s birthday party and she love love loves it. she’s taken hundreds of pictures and videos and always uses it. the only issue is it does tend to freeze on the occasional photo and we have yet to figure out how to fix it from that point unless the battery dies. otherwise i would def buy again. ... show more

When I was unable to contact the manufacturer, Amazon responded to the negative review that I posted and once they understood the details promptly replaced the camera. My 5 and a half year old son absolutely loves it! It's his first camera and he can't put it down. I fully charged it and put 4 songs on it before giving it to him. The mp3 player on it works, the pictures actually come out clear, there's an SD card included which I loved and there's games, fun backgrounds, he learned all the functions pretty fast. It's not very complicated for a 5 year old. Of course you will need to help with charging and downloading songs onto the camera and putting the pics and videos onto a computer. ... show more

We bought one of these for my older sons and it’s fantastic. No problems. Our youngest son wanted one too so we bought another. His is awful! It constantly freezes. I contacted Amazon about it within the return period and they advised me to let it’s battery run out and then recharge it. This fixes the problem for a few minutes but it just freezes again ending up in an extremely disappointed child who is upset he can’t take pictures like his older brother. We gave this to my 5 year old son for Christmas. It's very easy to use and he's loved it since receiving it. He uses it all the time. Unfortunately, the screen suddenly stopped working. The camera still turns on and makes the usual sounds when we push buttons, but nothing displays on the screen. The camera was a little smaller than expected, but it is for children. The 6 year old I got it for loves it, though. She takes pictures of everything. It comes with a little micro USB stick, for you to put the photos on your computer if you wish. We bought an extra micro SD so, she would have more room to take photos, but the camera itself holds a certain amount of photos, before filling its SD. The user ability is easy, once you understand, but she is still figuring it out and needs us to help switch between, video, photos, view, or games. The quality is a little better than I expected for a child camera, but at the end of the day, remember, it's still a toy. It reminds me of a child version of the cheap $50 to $100 digital cameras you could buy at Walmart. Depending on the age of the person you are buying for, you could go with one of those instead.
