We bought four of the stools with backs. They're great looking. They're sturdy, and don't tip or wobble. The swivel works smoothly. As others have noted the seat isn't super cushy but we find for a couple hours at a time they're perfectly comfortable. We had one small issue, contacted the seller who responded immediately and took care of it. Definitely recommend this product and this seller. A note on assembly: the directions are detailed and easy to follow, with the parts clearly labeled. I would only add that when you get to the point where the instructions recommend two people if you just flip the assembly over using the heavy-duty cardboard box the seller ships in to support it it's easy to complete even with just one person. These bar stools can be 2 heights depending on which legs you use. The instructions were straightforward and putting them together without a helper wasn't bad. The hole for one screw on the back of one of the stools just won't line up, even after removing the whole backrest and trying again. It will tighten a little but not completely which doesn't really matter with the other 3 screws tight, but it was frustrating. Follow the instructions and only tighten everything at the end. These stools swivel nicely which was a feature I wanted. They are comfortable to sit on. I ordered these when they were backordered and while waiting for them they went on sale. I reached out asking about that and the seller honored the discount. I was very impressed with the seller's responsiveness. ... show more

This stool is sturdy and I assembled it myself. I'm a 70 year old woman. It said it required two people to assemble but I managed by myself. It is very sturdy and comfortable. I bought another one.

Pros: Price is right, color coordinates with almost anything, small footprint for our narrow area, easy to assemble (20 min per stool by myself, not in a hurry). It’s personal preference but I do like the material the seat it made of, clearly it’s not real leather for that price, but it can be wiped off with a damp cloth which is practical. I also find them comfortable and sturdy, that said we are small people, though. Cons: nothing really, wish they’d make more colors/fabrics and a version with a back rest. Purchased and assembled the counter height stools. They look great. They are comfortable to me. Assembly was fairly quick. It took me no time at all but my younger cousin struggled a little. We were able to work together on hers. Hardest part was lining up the metal circular piece as it was very tight and could be difficult for one person to do. I managed using my legs and arms but it may help to have a second person for that. ... show more

After a long search for kitchen bar stools, I finally selected these. They swivel, they include 2 height options (not found anywhere else) and they are easy to assemble (I did it by myself)! Important, too, is the customer care this seller, FurniMate, provides. It is amazing! My set arrived with one leg missing an end cap and another leg having a damaged end cap. When I let him know, 5 days later a package with replacement parts plus a few just-in-case extras, was sitting on my doorstep. He checked in, checked up, and sent updates before, during and after the whole process, and was courteous and truly concerned with my complete satisfaction; very refreshing after hearing so much to the contrary about some companies. I liked the bar stools so much I ordered another set. They arrived quickly and were completely intact.
